NCAA Tournament

Well now that the good guys have gone down, who are you cheering for?

For me, it’s Texas Tech and Houston—in that order.

I think Houston and Gonzaga. Maybe Oregon State too. I'm kind of hoping for an undefeated champion now and I don't really know why.

I’ve watched several of the games and it’s pretty clear to me that Abilene Christian is the best team in this tournament. I’ll pull for them to win it all.:yippee:

Tech had a chance to win but screwed up last shot. Arky 68 TT 66
Watching replays Tech got fouled in the under 2 right under the basket, and then on that last drive, looked like he got hit across the face. WV game could have easily been called a jump ball before the foul. Our game was pretty chicken **** too. 3 losses by 5 pts all with critical calls that didn't go Big12 way. Sucks, as 3 calls were really close and could have gone either way. The one where the Tech guy had his shoulder grabbed was just a terrible call. Sucks, but conference didn't get any breaks this weekend, that's for sure.

I have turned off the tournament and I am moving on to professional baseball. I find college baseball unwatchable. The horns basketball team provided us with a very entertaining finish up until the last day. Hopefully, next year will be better. No matter what happens, I hope against hope that the team will be able to find a super quick point guard who does not turn the ball over. The team was loaded with quality 2 guards this year (although a little undersized for 2 guards), but sorely lacked a point guard.

Yep.
Tired of watching Coleman and Raimey both dribble into traffic like a madman and turn the ball over.
Need another TJ.

So the Big XII is down to Baylor in the Sweet 16. Kansas should win tonight to make it two teams, but who knows. OU will be done after they play the 'zags.

So much for the Bix XII being this dominant force to be reckoned with.

The PAC 12 is the dominate. Conference.

This tournament has had quite a few big upsets. The Big 10 was lauded as the best conference but they've largely sucked. Michigan and Iowa are their best hopes. The Pac 12 has done well so far. The Big 12 almost went undefeated in the first round. I still think we are one of the top conferences.

I'm frankly surprised that ou was able to hold the deficit under 20 points. As long a Gonzaga shows up and plays like Gonzaga, they will be extremely difficult to beat - maybe Baylor can do it, but I doubt it.

mb,

Are you insinuating that a team with no coaching, no game plan, no discipline, no rebounding, trying to set an NCAA one game record for turnovers has no chance of beating a well coached, disciplined, talented team?
