The highly regarded best basketball conference in the country is not doing so well:

#2 ISU - sweet 16 2-0
#1 Houston - playing today 1-0
#3 Baylor - out 1-1
#4 Kansas - out 1-1
#6 BYU - out 0-1
#6 TTU - out 0-1
#7 Texas - out 1-1
#9 TCU - out 0-1

The conference is 6-6 and only Texas and TCU lost to higher seeded teams. ISU & Houston are really good and both might make the final 4, but Baylor will most likely get all they can handle from Clemson and could lose today. As we always say about the SEC in football, the Big XII is great at the top, but the middle is way overrated. The final standings sort of reflected that this year.
