And to think, everyone on tv said the Big 12 was the best all season.
Meanwhile we were laughing at the SEC after the first two days and they have 2 in the elite 8.

The farthest west team left is Tennessee, I think
Two of the final four (Purdue and Bama) are west of Knoxville. Also, Illinois is west of there (but they were out by the time you posted). The farthest west team left is Tennessee, I think
I suppose I should pull out a map sometimes. Many US Americans don’t have maps….Two of the final four (Purdue and Bama) are west of Knoxville. Also, Illinois is west of there (but they were out by the time you posted).
That said, your broader point remains valid -- the surviving teams have a decidedly eastern bias.
Yes I’m sure there are many more than them too. Making me feel even worse here.Michael LeBlanc and Jake Voskuhl give their regards.

There has been some oddly sloppy basketball today at times from all four teams. Players stumbling around, can’t control their dribble, two over-and-backs within like 2-3 possessions, air ball threes, too many missed layups to count, odd body control, etc. It’s been a lot of junk from all teams.
Not sure. But I do know that Bama would have lost by about 30 without Sears.365,
I was wondering if it is possible for Sears to be MVP for both Alabama & UConn
For sure. I understand the shooting aspect. That happens often, if not every final four. But I wonder if there was something wrong with the court. So many different players from all four teams were slipping on nothing and stumbling around like toddlers. Also I remember a few instances where players would just lose the ball like they’re just learning to dribble. All of that happened way more than normal today. Just my observation.I wonder how much depth perception/jitters playing in a football stadium played into these issues. It's gotta be wild being on that court in that cave of an arena packed with cameras everywhere. Surreal.
I am not a Sears fan in any way; however, I would trade Asmas or Hunter for Sears in a heartbeat. If we could get Bama to accept that we would have gone to the elite 8 again this season.Perhaps, but he gave UConn at least a dozen points in about a 6 minute stretch of the second half.
