Movie clips you love.

It's come to light that WorsterMan and snek held each other and cried at the demise of "Old Yeller," from their cozy love seat, at the theater.

It made their extra large tub of double buttered popcorn, even more salty and soggy, than usual.

Meanwhile in a theater far away, little Vol Horn 4 Life, fought through his tears, as he also watched Old Yeller being put down, with his parents.

He vowed one day, he would have a "special ranch," where animals, like stallions and fillies could intermingle and frolic together freely.

When he grew up, he got his ranch, the stallions do intermingle and frolic, with the fillies, but not for free. Now he charges for such activities.:smile1:

NBH7 - what can I say? When snek gets emotional it makes me emotional. Since you bring up the past, what do you know about the past of our good friend George Constanza?

If George ever gives you stationary as a gift, don't use the envelopes, or at least use scotch tape to seal them. If you don't, you could soon become very stationary, and quite stiff.

George likes to read, but never let him borrow one of your prized books. It could become marred for life and flagged with a big red #2.

Also never buy a book, from George, no matter how good the deal seems. You don't know where the book has been, you don't want to know either. This warning goes double, for books about art, he likes to leave a significant impression on these.

I could see snek buying one of these type books from him, to showoff in front of his electronic techno fusion new wave Euro trash friends. Then again they wouldn't care and think it just added character to the book.

What's wrong with being frugal? Sorry if I don't wanna be living paycheck to paycheck like you idiots when I retire.

What's wrong with bringing some reading material in the bathroom? It helps me relax. It's bad to strain when you're sitting in that position. I've read about it in medical journals. That's also why I pee in the shower.

And what is wrong with wanting to pretend to be an architect? That girl never would have known. And I acted in high school. It's not like I couldn't pull it off.

.....buncha schmucks.

George is getting upset in the third person person again. He thinks we are killing "Independent George."

Serenity Now!

Let's just get it all out there, for the world to see.

You know NBHorn7, our George Constanza seems a little stressed lately. I think George just needs a little break , a retreat to the exclusive VolHorn4Life: Hill Country Executive Ranch & Bordello.

I know it sure gave me a fresh perspective after the Spring Game.

Of course, George's "get-away" adventures might also create some new material for you here on HF.

I have retrieved the footage I posted, showing what goes on at the now world renown, thanks to Hornfans,"Vol Horn 4 Life Executive Ranch and Bordello." There's nothing dirty going on you know, the proprietor has stated that.

It promotes that a homely boy can find romance, so this sounds like something in George's wheelhouse. I know you wouldn't want to miss the chance at the Vol Vol VolHorn Ranch.

There are no man massages offered, as of yet, "not that's there's anything wrong with that." You of all people should know this.

As Matt Foley motivational speaker said, it's time to get back on the right track.

So here is a classic that I am surprised I did not think of earlier and a couple of my favorite clips:

And another famous Steve McQueen clip I dig - back in the day, I wanted THAT Mustang!!!

Great clip and movie snek.

I / we take it for granted.

I / we have no real appreciation of what the times were like in the post Great Depression - WWII days. Many people in the U.S. feared, early on, we would lose the war to either the Germans or the Japanese. I heard this from my directly from my grandparents.

Virtually everyone participated or had family member or in my case multiple family members that contributed at home or in military effort to defeat the Japanese Empire or the German National Socialist.

The Greatest Generation showed incredible heroism and bravery during that war and especially on OMAHA BEACH: June 6, 1944. Many of them would not talk about it, but this is probably the most realistic example of what can be put on film to show what it may have been like for them that day.

I had an uncle that survived as a medic on Omaha Beach in the first wave - he refused to talk about it even to his wife. He was a good man, raised a family and died several years ago at 93 in Gilmer TX.

The first time I saw Saving Private Ryan I had tears in my eyes thinking about my Uncle Joe having to not only dodge bullets for his life but to witness the horrible carnage, while deciding who to treat and who to leave to die on that beach.
