Movie clips you love.

I loved the Cohen Bros. version of True Grit. This may have been the best scene.

I guess I love the Western. Opening scene to High Noon is memorable.

The 2010 remake might be closer in spirit to the original novel, but I still prefer The Duke (and Robert Duvall) in this scene

OTOH, Matt Damon >>> Glenn Campbell as LaBouef

There are several clips of Inspector Clouseau and Cato fighting that are all classic. This is one of my favorites of those:

I don't know how to post a movie scene, but I think one that shows great editing is the scene in A Christmas Story when Ralphie is decoding in the can. The close-ups of his decoder pin and pencil, his eyes, and his tongue build tension, which then culminates in Randy lifting the toilet seat ...

... and segues to Ralphie lifting the lid on the cabbage pot.

"Red cabbage again?"

Texanne: I never mastered the embedded message in the previous software, but it's easy enough for this 50-something white guy now. When you are posting, just click the icon one space removed from the smiley face (the word "media" will appear when your cursor is above it) Then just cut and paste the URL from from the clip location.
Here I did it for you in a minute:

This movie was so damn intense:

Oh, I forgot that one - After Silence .. Lambs, I didn't think there would be anything to top that sociopath. But I'm wrong again w/ No Country FOM.
When you're born and bred in W. TX, No Country has such a high overall sentimental value to this viewer. IOW, I didn't walk out of the theater like I did at Silence.

This movie was so disturbing to me too.

I have quoted the line about eating the liver from this movie a few times since I saw it.

This is the one, IMHO... A PHD philosophically schools Starling in the higher concepts of Psych.....
[I'm a gonna stop now with the embedded media.... we'll crash the server !] :smile1:

Tell me, Clarice, have the lambs stopped screaming? Or something like that. Damn, it was intense.

I counter your Airplane clip!

Here to provoke ya... so may clips.
too bad I can't find the ending scene of The Hustler... raise me a classic Newman - Hud is already here IIRC.

and don't call me Okie-Horn

OK, I am serious and I will call you Okie-Horn and I raise you another Airplane classic clip.

My Dad woke me up (I had only been in bed a few minutes) when he saw this was going to be on tv one Friday night. He said I needed to see this movie because it was awesome. And it was, it is! The sound editing is amazing as shown in this scene. From the gum chewing to the ice in the glass, greatness.
