KSU—We Won the Series at #23 KSU

Thomas.

grounded out.

Cats Coach to the mound. Pitching change.

7-3 us

still in the top of the fourth.

I’m going to catch the rest of this game later, but here’s a handy list of home run slang terms for the play-by-play guys: moon shot, ding-dong, oppo boppo, round-tripper, going yard, going deep, long ball, jack, oppo taco (huh?), no-doubter, bomb, blast, four-bagger, and cannon shot. Those should last you through at least the 7th or 8th inning. :smile1:

Is this game on cable? Cannot find on regular sports channels. Maybe ESPN +

Softball game is on. #2 Horns behind 1-0 early to
Okie Lite.

8-3 us.

Gaspo k, but dropped ball and C missed throw to first. Gaspo safe at first. Flores comes home.

8-3 us

Now they retire us.

To the bottom of the fourth.

Play at the plate. He’s safe. They’re reviewing. D Kennedy threw it home. Close.

8-5 us if it stands.

Hurley: throw strikes with breaking stuff. Don't leave it hanging up high in the zone. In tonight's game, just get outs. Giving up 1 run doesn't hurt. No big innings. (easier said than done)

Ugggghhhh. Base hit with 2 RBIs. Brown can't get a handle on the ball well.

11-10 us. S-L-O-P-P-Y

Base hit to RF. Belyeu guns it in so the runner holds at 3rd. Still 11-10 us. Bases loaded, one out.

Hurley is done.

I'd say this situation is high enough leverage for the big gun--bring in Boehm.

And that's precisely what Pierce does.

Enter Boehm. A few batters too late is better than after they've already taken the lead.
