Johnathan Gray

Just read that Gray is planning to be in CS the weekend of UT's spring game. That's the suck - deep down I felt he was going to show up and commit then. Guess we'll have to wait a little longer.

Well I'm losing the faith that we get him. Here was my guess at who gets him percentage wise just a couple of weeks ago.

Horns 70%
TCU 25%
Ags 3%
other 2%

Not showing up for our spring game makes me change my percentages of us getting him to:

TCU 50%
Horns 25%
Ags 25%

What do you think?

I say there is a 50% chance I'm just tossing numbers when I say 51% Horns and 49% Frogs - give or take 10%

Y'all are sweating because he's not coming to our spring game? He's been on campus a few times..
O ye of little faith.
Be patient & focus...but, most of all, GET YOUR HORNS UP!

Baylor does well in "sports" just not football. They only have 1 less Big 12 championship than OU and rank 5th all time. In the last 7 years they rank 3rd in Big 12 championships.

There is really only the one sport, football. Everything else is such a distant 2nd it doesn't even belong in the same classification.

Butts-in-seats and partisan tv's notwithstanding, to have a team that excels in the one true sport represent the conference in a BCS bowl instead of seeing A&M or Oklahoma State get their *** kicked yet again is what helps the perception of the conference as a whole when it comes time to win the beauty contest for the lucky 2 that get anointed to vie for the national championship. Tech under Leach did just that for the Big 12 in 2008.

do academics play a role at all? I'm guessing at TCU he would have small classes. I'm guessing the tutoring situation is the same at both universities?

TCU won the Rose Bowl last year and finished #2 in the country. TCU baseball was in the CWS and finished #3. What exactly did Baylor did that even comes close to that?

Every single sports program at TCU except men's basketball was ranked in the top 25 at some point last year.

Well Johnathan if you're reading this it has been proven on this thread that TEXAS is far superior to TCU and of course Aggy is way behind TCU. It sounds like your choice is easy now.
