Impeachment

The best thing for GOP to do in 2021 starting NOW is to shut up and let the Dems over reach with their authoritarian communism. It’s already happening.

Exactly.

Left red-hot hatred for Trump knows no bounds.

Just a lame Pelosi - Schumer last attempt to fully harm Trump now and in 2024 if he were to decide to run again. F' 'em.

A. He should go to the phantom zone with Zod.
B. The faster they can purge the GOP of this rabble, the better. It's like bad shellfish. You're gonna have little Trump, Ivanka, etc. plus all of the hangers on like Matt Gaetz and such. You've got reasonable GOP congressmen scared to get primaried by a Q/Trump Republican.
C. Can we get the truth out about this Q guy who's a pig farmer who left 4 chan because he wanted to assure that kiddie porn and other black market internet stuff would be available. I mean these nutty conspiracy theories lead to what we just saw play out. These people still think this is all part of Trump's grand "Operation" and he's going to rise from the ashes with his eagle tattoo and six pack and lead this country.
Go to bed Bubba, you’re Meth high.

He'd get a trial in the Senate, so he'd be represented by counsel, get to call witnesses, raise whatever defenses he wished, etc.
Unlikely, but would it be out of the realm of possibility for the Trump defense counsel to call as a witness each and every American that attended the rally and subsequently marched over to the Capitol?

I appreciate Bubba, Will and Husker with their opposing views. It makes HornFans great. Even though I disagree with them, I wish we had more here. The conservatives dominate here.

I'm here to avoid progressive bubbles. Believe or not, there are times when I agree with y'all even if I don't always state it.

For sure Trump is now the most despised President since Nixon and the Republicans are distancing to save themselves. Even enablers like Ted Cruz are trying to make sure the don't go down in his wake.

GA SofS said they expected to certify senate runoff winner by Jan 20th inauguration.
McConnell has adjourned Senate to Jan 19th. The Dem Senate Majority will not exist until the VP is a Dem.
Imo the impeachment talk is to get Trump to follow the Nixon path.

Yep, the impeachment plan McConnell reportedly shared with Senate colleagues doesn't allow for the Senate to take up the matter until Jan 20th absent unanimous consent which would never happen.

I don't believe in infant circumcision, and I think Magic Johnson is faking his HIV/AIDS diagnosis. Many would call me a nut.

I'm reasonable when I can be, but I can dig in and be unreasonable and uncompromising when it really counts. For example, I was pretty much ok with McConnell playing hardball on judicial nominations, because I know that is a bare-knuckled brawl. It shouldn't be, but it is.

I'm not a moderate on much of anything.
It’s hard to pin a tag on Deez so I think I’ll call him conservatively independent. But one of the most thoughtful posters on the WM.

You seem to bend over backwards to get to Husker to like you.

I don't. I've taken issue with him many times, and I disagree with him far more often than not. If you actually look at issues, defense policy is probably the only area where he and I mostly agree. We don't even fully agree on Trump.

The big difference is that I don't call him names or go out of my way to disrespect him. I tell him why I think he's wrong, back it up with my rationale, and go on with my life. He does the same with me.

I also think there's a tendency by many on both sides to refuse to acknowledge that someone they disagree with has a point or has a degree of merit. To them, you're either totally right or completely full of ****. They think it makes their own position weak to acknowledge the merits of their opponent, and it doesn't. In fact, it actually builds your credibility and fosters healthy dialogue, which is what this board is supposed to be about. That doesn't mean there's no room for smack talk. I smack talk Switzer all the time, but that one time a year that he says something with merit, I will admit it. In fact, I celebrate it, because it's so rare.

I have agreed with him at times, and when he lied after the 2016 election saying he would support trump and hope he did good job, I commended him for doing so. Of course, it was a lie, and he never did those things.

So, now he's on Ignore. He does resort to name calling and acting like a dick. Bubba, Crockett, and others are reasonable. I know you like to pick on Bubba and his okieness, an of course that is all deserved on a Longhorn board, but he is more reasonable than Husker could ever dream of being.

I won’t put someone on ignore for any reason. Same reason I think Twitter and Facebook are wrong to block speech they disagree with. I fully support free speech.

"Ah, come on man!"

Isn't there a clause for some kind of "entitled" woke forgiveness for the damage, vandalism, looting, lawlessness, rioting, assault, death and mayhem caused by the "peaceful protesters" in MN, OR, WA, DC, IL, WI, MD, etc. ?

Asking for a friend.

MOSTLY PEACEFUL! MOSTLY PEACEFUL!

I support free speech, too. But, I am not the government and I doubt anyone I put on Ignore sees that as a punishment and diminishing of their rights.

And I get tired of seeing drivel from certain people.

You know we all have a tendency to ignore the millions of cars going safely up and down I35 every day and focus on the 7 csr polyp that kills 12 people.
But a news crew covering a major accident wouldn't characterize it as a mostly accident free highway while reporting on the carnage.

I don't remember him ever promising to support Trump.

Yes, it is well-deserved. For starters, if you break those three down, Crockett is clearly more conservative than Switzer or Husker are. He's to my left, but he's clearly to their right. I'm not sure I'd assume Switzer to be more reasonable. He's really just less assertive. He may not tangle with you as much, but I've never seen him actually back down.

Tell that to CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS concerning mass shootings, cops shooting Blacks and the Capitol riots. Im pretty sure less than 7% of the protesters in DC were part of the Capitol break in.

@Mr. Deez I don’t recall his exact words. I can’t and didn’t say he promised support. He basically gave the same ******** Hillary et al initially gave Trump about supporting the president or whatever words were used. He did. I’m not going to bother to find it.

I support free speech too. But I disagree that ignoring someone is censorship. Am I censoring NBC by blocking their channel on my TV? Did I censor Facistbook and ConwayTwitter by cancelling my account?
