Impeachment

One of their other "witnesses" was Harvard Law's Noah Feldman

Did you know her was a Diane Feinstein staffer during the Kavanaugh hearings? As such, he was part of the staff that doxxed Republican senators and staff over their votes in that hearing.

In addition, back in 2008, he wrote an op-ed in the NYT extolling the virtues of Sharia Law

“Islamic law offered the most liberal and humane legal principles available anywhere in the world.”

Shariah - Muslims - Islamic Law - Islam - Courts

And here is Pamela Karlan in 2017 on her irrational hatred of Donald Trump

“I came in from the airport yesterday and I got off the bus from Dulles down at L’Enfant Plaza and I walked up to the hotel and as I was walking past what used to be the old post office building and is now Trump hotel… I had to cross the street, of course,” she said.

“Are you staying there?” Neil Siegel, a fellow panelist, asked.

Karlan responded, “God, no! Never!”

If Hillary had won, this person might be sitting on the SCOTUS right now -- does she sound like an impartial jurist to you?

Who wrote this?

I cant be certain, but it may have been renowned, unbiased legal scholar Hillga Clintonheimer

And here was Pamela Karlan on Dec 20, 2016. She was dreaming of impeachment before Trump was even sworn in.

“If he invades a country because they put windmills outside his golf course, that would be a conflict of interest. If he decides not to enforce labor laws to protect workers at Trump casinos that is a violation of the oath of office. There is a difference between having a king and a president. But even if Trump did any of those things, he wouldn’t be prosecuted. The only recourse would be impeachment.”

Trump's apparent disregard for nation's laws raises fears

An odd choice of words for a woman who was forced to resign over improperly sleeping with several of her employees/staffers

I missed this. Don't need to make stuff up. I submit him to run against SJL for idiocy
Al Green Houston D Rep
"“What subliminal message are we sending to the world when we have experts, but not one person of color? Are we saying that there are no people of color who are experts on this topic?”

So after her announcement, Nancy had a little spasmodic moment.
She snapped, did some weird thing with her wrist, wagged a scraggly finger wildly at reporter who asked a simple routine question. And then she accused Trump of denying the "kimad crisis." And "our 'Dreamers,' of which we're very proud."

The reporter was James Rosen who had his phone illegally tapped by the Obama folks

Can you imagine, for just one moment, the reaction if a male R Speaker told a female reporter “don’t mess with me?”

Andy can be so pollyannaish when it comes to human behavior in DC. It gets old.

He was even willing to at least entertain the idea that super late attempt to restart impeachment after the implosion of Russiagate was legit. But it never was. Instead, what it has always been about is avoiding accountability for those who perpetrated that hoax in the first place. As Ive argued many times, that accountability goes all the way to the top of the Executive Branch.

Honestly -- just ask yourself how do Dems keep the actual info from the IG report out of the media cycle? This is and always has been about spinning the media away from the implicated parties

Another NR writer goes even further than Andy though doesn't defend Trump per se.

Impeachment Hearings & Presidential Misconduct: Some Historical Perspective | National Review

At its core, impeachment is a political question. If you're going to argue for it, you have to frame the President's actions as being horrifically bad. If you can't do that, then the public isn't going to be very supportive. That's why you're hearing a lot of hyperbolic rhetoric from the Democrats, the "experts," and the media.

That's also why they're doing their best to keep the focus off of Hunter Biden. If he's viewed as sleazy, the public is far less likely to be outraged at the prospect of investigating him, even if the method is a bit questionable.

I get that. McCarthy has been very clear on that too, it being a political issue not legal.

The problem is that these hearings are not making impeachment more popular because of how they are being pursued.

They keep saying “nobody is above the law”.

It seems we are depending on President Trump and a few Republicans to protect America from these rotten slime balls trying to take over our country by undoing an election. This is no doubt by far the biggest attempted coup ever in American history. It’s down right scary. Or is it even scarier the left either doesn’t see it or don’t care. Either way is very bad.

Funny. Kevin McCarthy Is Donating the Cash He Took From Rudy Giuliani's Indicted Pals

Igor and Co. keep popping up with the GOP. I've long held that the filtering of Russian oligarch money into PAC's will come out at some point. And, if said oligarchs are smart they're putting money in both pots.

And, given Nunes communication with Rudy and Fraud Guarantee, he should be removed from any "oversight".

McCarthy is just trying to be objective. Plus he worked in the swamp before so it is hard for him to believe his previous coworkers are so dishonest.
His latest shows that he is critical of the clown show going on within the impeachment hearings.
Trump Impeachment -- Adam Schiff’s Report Will Not Attract New Impeachment Supporters | National Review

He defended the behavior of McCabe, Comey, Rosenstein, Strzok, Page and Ohr until the last moment. He refused to believe anyone there could behave like this until it was put directly in front of him and only then did he finally concede.

Karlan is not a Constitutional expert. She is a penumbra expert. Where there is nothing is where Liberal power resides.

I only remember McCarthy saying good things about Comey and Mueller. He had worked with both in a different context, but had personal experience with them. The others I have never read any support for. But I could be wrong.

The main point is that he has been critical of the Dem narrative for a good amount of time now. He is objective though, not invective.

Trump will be the only President in History to be impeached by the House, exonerated by the Senate, and re-elected by a landslide.

Why is impeachment political? Clearly the founding fathers thought it shouldn’t been. Maybe Congress should create a law that states a third of the opposition party or 2/3 of the house has to agree on impeachment
