My patience with Ewers is done. If he was ever going to be something special we would have seen it by now. But I'm just a dumb fan and he will prove me wrong.
 
OL, Ewers, and the WRs look shaky. I'm just wondering if we'd be better off having a dedicated offensive coordinator instead of Sark having to do everything.

I’ve been a believer that Ewers would be much better—I agree it’s not showing. Also, the OL looks awful.

Unless Campbell and A Mitchell learn to block, we need to go to the wildcat. Very disappointing offense for 1st half. Better be some serious *** chewing in the locker room. No excuse for this performance. Rice is not terrible but this oline is very disappointing!!!
 
Ewers all hype no gas. (At this point at least). Not much help from the o-line. He seems to look for Worthy and if that is not there it all breaks down. He doesn’t seem to see the field that well.
 
Sark keeps talking about playing the best players to give us the best chance to win. How bad does one have to play before you to go to the alternative? Coaches that are this stubborn will not succeed. Hell, Sabin put in the second string in the National Championship game and look how that turned out...just sayin.
 
After all the freaking hype about Quinn cutting his hair and doubling down on his work....how great the pancake factory has been at bringing in elite line talent....how unbelievable our receiving corps is....

In the first half this team looks like like last years team. Pretty good running team who shows lots of flashes of promise, but in the end just above average team.
 
FG and punting looks like a real strength.

Defense has been awesome!

On offense we need to ditch the 3 WR set and go back to double TE sets. Maybe 1 WR and 3 TE. DON’T DOUBT ME - you will see this next week.
 
The biggest disappointment is the Oline.
I think Ewers only held on too long for one of the sacks. The others were lack of execution by Oline.
I don't get it
 
With QE we w ill be 7-5 this year. We once had a great coach who had the most talented QB in the state and when he didnt produce,he replaced him and won a national championship. Be nice if the coach we have now would recognize that. However he cant hold a candle to that coach.
