Very impressive win. Totally dominating on offense. Gave up too many yards on big pass plays (their three TD passes went for 184 yards). Hope the team continues to improve - the attitude and physicality look very good, there's still some room to improve execution.

Don't disagree the secondary showed some flaws...but, for the record, Columbi is a Senior who has 4+ years experience in the system as he followed Wells from Utah St.

Definitely not an ordinary backup.

Yeah but Schooler made a horrible move closing on the receiver as he caught it and made his move. Looked like a 3 stooges scene.

One of my big takeaways from this game is the refs were either blind or really pro-Longhorns cuz they never flagged us for our wrapping-up tackles! Even when we had more than one guy in on the tackle! I'm telling you, we were lucky.

They also didn't repeatedly flag us for pass interference. Are they blind? I know we haven't been coached up. The last 7 seasons proved that.

And I looked this up- I had thought downfield WR blocking was illegal.
Over and over I saw Whitt, Washington and X blocking on some of those runs.
It’s not illegal for a WR to block. Who knew?

Doesn't faze me we gave up 35 or a lot of passing yards. When you have a big lead for most of the game, yards and points are usually surrendered. Intensity wanes. But like someone else said it will be good coaching material during this coming week. Great win today. TCU is going to play mad but we will be ready.
