Their QB is more talented. Their o line is better. Their back seven is as good. Brock wouldn’t be starting for bu. Schooler wouldn’t see the field at bu.

NOW they are as good. Pick a year where Baylor’s recruiting classes equaled ours. Aranda has coached these guys up. That hasn’t happened in Austin in a long, long time.

For all the talk about lack of talent at Texas. Texas has more than Baylor. The problem is Baylor has an actual servicable football coaching staff.

That's equating team play with individual talent, even though lots of other things go into how well someone plays.

Pretty much nobody wanted Bohanon to play QB in P5. He first came in because Brewer was hurt, and he initially sucked for the most part. The issue between our teams is not that they recruited more talented passers than we did.

And Bohanon hasn't even played well that well today. He's thrown two picks right to Texas players, and hasnt hit much in the way of difficult passes to guys who were well covered, even though his running game is doing far better than ours.

yep. And “talent” is both a snapshot in time while in high school based on other HS players, and a fleeting aspect if not continuously improved. Today, Baylor has better players on the field, recruiting stars be dammed.

Please stop saying this team has talent. Talent talent talent. All we hear (from the fans) is how talented this team is - who are currently being blown off the line of scrimmage on both offense and defense by Baylor.

Mix in poor QB play and hands of stone WR, and you have exactly what the record reflects - an unranked team in the middle of the conference standings.

Let me ask you a question, Duck.
Baylor was 2-7 last year.
DO YOU think they magically obtained a massive amount of new talent in one year??
