Another week for Malik to progress, or with a little luck (miracle) Ewers returns.

Pk ran more blitzes and games up front than in this game than all the other games combined.I love how the D is bringing pressure. This scheme would have beaten ou
So, do we jump ou in the AP?
If the D played against Houston like they did today that's a total blow out. Last week Houston scored 3 TDs while the O only had the ball once. And they drove to the 25 and then Sark makes the moron fake FG try. But the O was still moving the ball. Ewers gets hurt and the O struggles the rest of the game. We didn't drive the length of the field once today. TDs came on short fields. MM isn't close to Ewers this year. The jump Ewers made from last year to this was huge. Hopefully MM does it as well.
Yes, they might be. But I’d much rather the Horns kick ksu’s a3ss.A win, but a very sloppy game. KSU has to be kicking their chops.
Yes. Yes. The players should just run out the FG team while Sweat carries Sark to the team tunnel for 60 seconds… and then set him free to come back…. Where we see Sark mouth the words “ get your hands off me MFer”For the life of me, I cannot understand why when you have a chance to go up three scores in the second half you don’t kick the freaking field goal and then you get another chance and you don’t kick it again. A freak, play or two, and those decisions would be extraordinarily huge. Someone needs to explain to Sark the math. I get that the Texas defense was dominant and I get that Sarkisian was trying to give the team something by way of an accomplishment but kick the damn field goal and go up three scores.
If Texas plays the way, it did today next week against Kansas State. It will be an ugly ugly ugly loss. Fortunately they get to start over and Maalik has a game under his belt and will hopefully improve game over game.
I don’t want to lose sight of the fact that the defense was absolutely incredible today and bailed out the team every single time. Awesome job by the D.
With the expectations on this board it’s easy to lose sight of this. We have been down for so long we’ve lost sight of the forest for the trees. I for one am going to enjoy the ride and see where this season takes us.Ball game. We 7-1! So much better than 2 years ago. 1 year ago, huh. Not always pretty, but we 7-1, Horns. I dig it.
This is true and indeed, we are nitpicking. But, the expectations are high, because the roster is talented and deep, sprinkled with elite players at multiple positions. To me, the opportunity is much greater this year than next year because of the predictable exits. With the expectations on this board it’s easy to lose sight of this. The trainer needs to cut a hole in a knee pad and tape it inside Quinn’s shoulder pads where his shoulder injury is. If that doesn’t do it, go into the dungeon where all equipment goes to die and find some skeleton pads. Give him 2 aspirins and a ‘real’ coca-cola in a bottle..That should do the trick.Another week for Malik to progress, or with a little luck (miracle) Ewers returns.
Given how bad BYU secondary is, Ewers would have lit them up like a pinball machine.
I’m worried anyway

Now I wouldn’t go trotting him out in a string helmet with the rubber donut in the middle.
Oh the good old days!!

What’s the over/under on how many more successful goal line stands our opponents will stuff us this season? I’m guessing 18 at this rate.We need a killer mindset against KSU. I hope Sark can get the team ready.
If you were lucky, you’d get a new pacifier mouthpiece. If not, grab one from the wire basket. The taste was pretty bad, but that didn’t matter.THAT is exactly what we did when I played!!
