Horns face off with OSU in Stillwater

OSU's coach has gotten a bit out of his comfort zone as he has used 11 players in the first half compared to his normal rotation of seven.

Horns need to keep the pedal to the metal in the second half. Can't allow OSU to come back.

Announcers just said that it's everyone for Texas that is contributing. When your leading scorer has only two pts and the starter with the most points has only six and no player has reached double digits, I have to agree. It's everyone! :coolnana::hookem2:

missed the first few minutes due to the NMSU interview after that game ended and then those awfully long commercials. Horns looking good, up 13-2 with about 3 and a half left in the first quarter. :hookem:
now y'all know what I live with nmsu
Im
Horns missed the last shot of the half and head into halftime up 43-13.
I'm really liking this game alot, keep up the pressure, make those shot's count, play your game

Probably the best offensive half I've seen from the team all year, we need to clean up the turn overs though, we got lucky OSU missed some easy shots. Hope we can keep the pedal down in the second half

now 51-21 with 4:25 to go in the third quarter. OSU going on a run. Horns having some trouble scoring right now.

dang, I think Jensen just lost her footing but they called Kelsey for a foul. Horns have owned the last 4 minutes, now up 58-22 with 2:20 to go in the third.

Horns hot outside shooting from the last game is continuing in this game.
62-26 after three quarters and 6-11 from BTA with four players hitting at least one trey.

Jordan leads with 10 pts but Imani, Empress and Ariel all have 8. Imani needs two pts to get a double double.

Nice to see Tasia back, she was in briefly in the first half. Now just Mide left and all 13 active on the roster will have seen playing time.

Patton looked to land awkwardly on that layup. Hope she is okay. That would be a tough loss for the Cowgirls, not to mention losing the game.

Jordan and Imani tied for high point honors. Jordan still on the floor while Imani is probably done for the evening.

Horns win this one, 78-48 with the starters sitting out quite a bit late in the game. Jordan also went out with about five or six minutes left. She and Imani tied for the scoring lead at 12 pts apiece. Excellent game with lots for the coaches to work on with the players.

Pretty sloppy 4th quarter from the bench. But, a 30 point win is immmmpresive!! Way to go ladies. :hookem2:

Probably won't beat them, but should give Baylor a battle this year. their length at guard and deep athletic post play will give them the edge, but should show we are gaining a little ground on them. I figure maybe a second place finish and #2 seed in NCAAs this year if we keep getting better. Women's basketball team is fun to watch unlike football and men's basketball.
