Hillary is not out of the woods yet

Judicial Watch, via FOIA actions, was able to get the invitee list to Clinton Foundation galas. They show that, while still serving as the Secretary of State, Hillary invited a bunch of Russians, including Putin

Yet here she is today

Besides literally tripping all over herself in India, she also figuratively tripped all over herself saying she lost the election because white people are a bunch of stupid racists, especially white women. She really does hate half the country
She does this while advocating that GDP share should determine elections

When I think how close we were to electing her President, I shutter. Sadly the group lining up to oppose Trump in 2020 aren't any better; Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, etc.

if the RNC is on its game, it will take that soundbyte and make a billion TV commercials out of that.
Even if the RNC doesn't do it, individual candidates will likely do so. There are also some D's that are trying to distance themselves from it and decry the pot-shot that #Shillary took at their constitutency.

In her rant Hillary left out the biggest part of her failure. She was a phony, deplorable candidate that ran a terrible campaign.

She really was awful, but if you think about it, it's hard to blame her for being so delusional about what happened. Since 1992, most of the people around her have told her that she's one of the smartest people in the world and that everybody who's critical of her (1) has no legitimate basis for their criticisms and (2) has something morally and/or mentally wrong with them. If you've been told that for 25 years, eventually you start to believe that crap.

Furthermore, from 2015 on, the entire political and media commentariat claimed that her victory was "inevitable" and was more of a coronation than an election. She was supposed run unopposed in the primary and then crush anybody the GOP put out there. Instead of that happening, she had some crazy old socialist who walks around in a $75 wrinkled suit and doesn't own a comb put her through the wringer for the nomination. And not only does she lose the general election, she loses to an unapologetic ******* who basically would have lost to anybody besides her. Her whole image of herself and what others think of her was completely shattered. She's clearly in shock, and honestly, I hope she gets professional help for her own sake.

Trying to imagine when Hillary would even have met someone who disagreed with her, let alone had a discussion with that person.

It says something about her that all the years she was with Bill during his campaigns and saw what he did and how he acted and the things he said, she never seemed to absorb any of those lessons. I don't know if that's a complete lack of self-awareness or a thinly veiled contempt for Bill and his success that led her to have no interest in learning what made him successful. But it just seems like she would have picked up on the fact that Bill may have gotten into scrapes with Republicans, but he never in a million years would have gone overseas and insulted 40 percent of the U.S. population the way she has. And I'm convinced she's so removed form reality that she doesn't even view it as insulting!

I'm starting to wonder if Hillary just figures people in red states don't know how to work computers so they won't hear about it.

Obviously, she met people like Newt Gingrich and George W. Bush, but there was a lot of bad blood with Gingrich and Bush was probably too much of a gentleman to challenge her. But probably 99 percent of the time, she was surrounded by New York City and DC insiders who agreed with her, fawning media figures, and sycophants who kissed her *** nonstop.

I don't know that she necessarily didn't learn from Bill's experiences, but I think she (like other liberals) believed that Bill Clinton's centrism and folksy demeanor were a "necessary evil" that had to be deployed in the much whiter and more conservative 1990s America but that were unnecessary in the more enlightened, post-Obama, identity politics-driven era.

Consider the narrative on the DADT repeal. Obviously Bill Clinton signed DADT into law, but it was treated as something he "had to do" because we were a country of deplorable homophobes in 1993. By 2010, the "coalition of the ascendant" had overwhelmed the bigots of the '90s sufficiently to fully lift the ban. Even Bill Clinton basically agreed with that narrative and didn't care to correct the record. (After all, his only real ideology was his junk, so why would he care?) Well, I think many Democrats adopted a similar mentality across the board - on issues as well as on strategy. So I think she figured that she could just insult the still-living deplorables of the '90s and motivate her urban base with no fear of repercussions.

Don’t like Ms. Clinton much, but losing your footing coming down steep steps at her age isn’t really fair game for ridicule.

Agreed, one should never ridicule a sweet old lady who slips on some steps.

Hillary is the farthest thing from a sweet old lady you could ever imagine.

I'll readily admit that this is true, and that staircase looks like it's 5,000 years old. I doubt that it's up to modern building codes and regulations. The reality is that nobody would be laughing if it happened to anybody else.

It's somewhat analogous to a kid peeing in his pants at school in 4th grade. If a nice retarded kid pees in his pants you don't laugh because he's a good kid who's trying to overcome his disability. If the classroom bully who has been acting like a jackass all year pees in his pants, then you laugh because his embarrassment is sweet justice. Hillary is more like the bully.

Plus she had two big dudes on either side carrying her fat a@@ down the steps.

She's hiding a medical condition. This happened several times during the campaign too. They passed it off as recovering from pneumonia or something.

She met them, but didn't know they disagreed with her. No way they would disagree with her publicly. Too many bad mysterious things happen to people that are around the Clintons.

I regret that I may ever be remembered for seeming to take up for Hillary Clinton. I do think the physical criticisms are misdirected.

On another note, the comments she made while in India reflect a mind completely infected with the rare blend of victimhood and simultaneous arrogance. She has told and been told so many lies that she basically has conversion disorder.

I see your point, but is she being ridiculed because of her physical limitations or because she bullshat everybody about them during the campaign?
