Actually you are right, I assumed he would be a typical French socialist but he does have some good, pro-business positions at least by French standards. However, his 500 euro "cultural pass" to 18 year olds is beyond ridiculous.The first two are due to their labor policies. If there was uneasiness about Macron, it was due to his pro-business/anti-labor modernization policies. He recognizes the legally mandated shorter workweeks and pro-union stances are holding back France's economy.
