In a way, I understand this. If you join the EU and exploit the benefits of it (or perceived benefits of it), you have to accept the stupid decisions they make too. The remedy is to leave. Maybe they'll form a new, sane union with the UK. lol
 
We're all hoping at least parts of Europe are going to pull their heads out before the Continent is completely overrun. May be too late for Sweden, Greece, Italy, and Germany.

That cinches it. I can't believe this attack wasn't prevented based on those warnings.
 
Norway police to be armed after Stockholm attack. Holy hell, what a novel idea. You mean it's necessary for police to carry firearms so they can thwart ANY type of crime?

Did it really take the new threat of runaway trucks to form this elementary conclusion?

This issue highlights how goofy the European left really is. They seriously believe the gun is the cause of violence. Of course, they point to the US and rationalize that since the US has lots of crime and relatively lax gun laws, the guns must be the problem. They miss the concept that correlation doesn't guarantee causation.

Nevertheless, this crackpot mindset goes beyond your hardcore socialist Scandinavian countries. Most cops in the UK are unarmed. Somewhat surprisingly, not only do German cops carry guns, they can carry when off duty.
