I don't know, and I'm not asking anyone in Travis County, but if Ewers "tweet" yesterday was referencing this announcement, I am really pissed off. I had a president that acted like a clown and lost his reelection bid in no small part because he couldn't keep from acting like a 13 yr old girl on the twitter account. If Ewers did indeed do that, Sark needs to shut down his twitter account and take his phone away. (Is twitter phone only?)

As for Mr Card, I believe he would be much better starting under center. The drop back gives him an opportunity to see the field and read the defense, which he cannot do while looking for the ball. That may (or may not) allow him to release the ball more quickly, which is my biggest problem with him.

Take it as you will; Sark gets paid $6 million a year to assess that while I have pay five figures to watch. Think maybe Sark lost my number to call and get my opinion?

I thought about the tweet and the subsequent starting announcement and was wondering. Did Coach know or or give warning/notice not to throw anything out there? Possibly bad form on Ewers’ part with respect to his primary competitor and teammate Card.
In any case, Coach seems to have a good handle on the pulse of his players and hopefully no bad blood has been created.

I see Ewers throwing 2-3 INTs per game. Our only hope is that they at least in line with the game plan that opens up running lanes for Bijan

If the tweet was a reference to the (at the time) upcoming starter announcement — which seems almost a certainty (“almost”) — Sark learned something about Ewers and his maturity. His youthful exuberance notwithstanding, a player cannot go rogue with something this important to the team and their psyche. Players in the “Card Camp” may not be feeling the love… I’m guessing that Sark is contemplating some type of message sending move.

I have very high hopes for Ewers but I see an inkling of a Jeff George type in him. Hope I’m wrong.

I would say I'm surprised but that's the sad reality...
"We're Texas" can mean lots of things.
Unfortunately, it often means a bunch of uncalled for friendly fire (what friendly fire IS called for?) Seems like a good portion of the fan base likes to run down people that they supposedly exist for the purpose of supporting simply to indulge themselves.
Keep it up, guys. I'm sure it will help get us where we want to go.

When you say you guys, who do you mean? I made a joke about the play book. Otherwise, I don't think I got in on the speculation.

As I’m sure most will agree, the fans have every right to opine. It just needs to be done respectfully without trashing the players. Some are incapable of observing without criticizing. I “try” to walk that fine line carefully.

Thanks, my line in the sand has always been adults who can’t run a 40, never mind in x seconds, who trash individual players. Ridiculous- and PLEASE … I am talking in general not about anyone in this thread.
