Election Night

Remember NH has no early vote. They all vote today. Voter enthusiasm counts in that state.

I subscribed to Fox News International to watch the returns. BBC is covering it, but that'll be crap.

I voted a week ago and went straight Republican except for one local Democrat judge who has seemed rational in some of their rulings. Y'all might be surprised about that but policy is what I'm sticking to along with my belief that rabid Liberalism is a cancer. I wish it wasn't Trump. I wish we had a female on the right who was calm and dignified with the same policies. Then we'd out the Liberals who are obsessed with their pronouns.

Here is an interesting post on FB by a white suburban female:

"Democracy is at risk. Review the history of Germany and what ensued. We must consider the issues that put the USA at risk. That is why so many lifelong Republicans are voting for Kamala. We must consider the total picture of issues. The central one is democracy vs autocracy!
Decency versus disrespect. Truth vs lies. Advocacy for peace versus violence. There are significant reasons why generals and Nobel economists are in favor of Kamala.
Why would women and the men who love them advocate for putting women at risk when they have a miscarriage? This issue affects women Democrats and Republicans and independents. Our bodies don't care about our politics. So yes, voting about many issues is critical.
The total picture with discernment. We don't have to agree on every single issue."

There's your problem right there.

Totally brainwashed. How is putting abortion rights at the state level autocracy? It’s actually the opposite.

Okay, she’s AWFL (affluent white female liberal).

Yes. Claiming to be a lifelong Republican. I don't know her but I don't understand why she thinks Trump will be a threat to Democracy. Hell we're a Republic anyway. Those morons on Jan 6th did a lot of damage and unfortunately, the Left has exploited it to the point where we see what happens to people such as her. Interestingly, she's a big property rights advocate as we are in a war out here over the water supply and over-development and she fully supports the local city council members who are basically plants by the real estate industry. So, there's that.

But I've always thought abortion was the Republican achilles heel. It's very personal to women and you can never underestimate its impact.
