There is a 2-part investigation with regard to Smollett, who has been charged via gj indictment with making 4 separate false reports. The investigation continues into the investigation of the investigators.

 
I am so old that I remember when Jussie Smollett staged his FAKE hate crime. He did it to smear Trump and his supporters. The US media gave this hoax wall-to-wall coverage.

It makes for an interesting contrast with regard to the actual crime by another Trump-hater who tried to run down and kill Trump supporters in Florida on Saturday. Barely can hear the crickets from the media on this.

What's sad is that the people who do this crap aren't held accountable. They try to intimidate some generally rule-abiding kid on the basis of a cheap political agenda. They back down when the kid puts up resistance, because they don't want to get sued. However, nothing happens to them. They don't even get named in the article. So what will happen? Next time that busybody piece-of-**** administrator sees an opportunity to push his horse crap political agenda at the taxpayers expense, he'll do it again.

In a fairer world, this guy would get canned and never work in education again. That's what would happen if he had something comparable that went the other way. For example, suppose he had stopped a Muslim kid from doing a noisy prayer at school because it was disruptive and frightened other kids. That would be the end of that administrator, and we would all know his name. He'd be a national villain on CNN.

Good thing they got a sophomore to sign on or I could see it having been mooted out at the end of the school year as the seniors would no longer be suffering a demonstrable harm.

Males have ZERO business in girls athletics. Period. Full stop.
