Dumb Political Correctness

I love the sort of issue Trump has created here with people now discussing what the hell has been going on in Baltimore. He manipulates Dems and their media lapdogs into knee jerk defensive positions where they always end up circling their wagons around the worst of their people. It's very clever. And we have seen it time and time again, yet they keep falling for it.

Here, the HUD regional director for the area that covers Balmer explains how Trump gave that area $16 Billion in federal grants in 2018 alone. And she asks, "Where the hell did that money go? What did you do with it?"

And this is nothing new. Obama also gave them $1.8B in hia infamous Porkubus Bill, early in his first term (remember - "they shovel ready!" ? lol)

That is a lot of money.

Where did it all go?

Dont we all know. There is a reason the counties around DC is among the richest per capita in the country.

Damn she must be a racist too.

The outcomes of the great recession is a perfect example of wealth having accountability privileges. Yes, there HAS TO BE MORE ACCOUNTABILITY by those in the inner city to pull themselves out of their situation but the system is stacked in favor of those that already have wealth. The 2008 collapse showed that the financial system lacks any personal accountability.

It showed that the financial system can't hold itself accountable when the government forces their hand into doing something disastrous. They tried to protest. Bush and Greenspan saw it coming. But Frank and Dodd and company pushed it through regardless.

I don't think he's pointing the finger at you or people like you. He's pointing out the unfairness that when the economy collapsed, the financial industry (which was wealthy) got to socialize its losses through a bailout.

If that was his point, then yes I 100% agree.

However, we're paying the price on fiscal responsibility. Our government is now on autopilot. It's just spending money without restraint, because there are no significant advocates for it. To be clear, I'm not stupid enough to place the blame for deficits entirely or even mostly on the President. The appropriators are on Capitol Hill. They are first and foremost to blame.

First and foremost? The average American. This is what people want and this is who people vote for, and in the end they get the government they deserve.

Personal accountability for thee but not for me. - Wealthy individuals

I find it difficult to lecture an inner city person struggling to stay above the poverty line when the financial system is so slanted.
I’ve never understood the relevance of what a few rich people get by with vs the rest of society. Sure there are white collar criminals and yes sometimes they can get away with murder. That has always been the case, even though they certainly should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Just go back and look at the mobsters getting rich during prohibition. And there are the entitled who have everything given to them with a silver spoon. I never could even stand the students that lived over in Tarrytown in new townhouses and drove BMW’s full of girls when I was a student while I was working my *** off to pay for school. But what % of the general population are we talking about. 2% max? Again, what does this have to do with the rest of us?

HOWEVER, a wise man once told me, children blame others and make excuses for their situation. A man takes responsibility and is accountable for everything he does. If someone can’t at least become moderately successful in the US today they simply aren’t trying and they don’t need special privileges to do it. Why should poor blacks get more privileges than poor whites? After all there’s more poor whites than poor blacks. Are there still racists? Of course there are, but for every racist there’s 10 people/companies that give privilege to a black over a white. I worked for one company that tried so hard to get blacks in the door to meet TX EEOC requirements the HR dept was practically knocking on doors and dragging blacks in the area to work, yet they still couldn’t get more than 10% on the payroll in an area 40% black. The very few that put forth some effort were promoted fast and became top managers. I was very proud of them. Unfortunately, most would work a few days and quit.

That’s the reality the elite left never see in the real world.

Dem. Senator Ron Wyden (Oregon) drove into Mexico, randomly selected a pregnant Mexican woman, and drove her into the U.S. to have her anchor baby. When he got to the border and was stopped by ICE, he yelled; " I'm a U.S. senator. You have to let me in.".

He is up for reelection and apparently thinks this stunt (and that's all it is) will play well with his base. I'm beginning to doubt the viability of the United States, with idiots like this in office.

Here's an alternate explanation of what happened. Judge for yourself.

Racist Ronald Reagan on secret Nixon tape, hidden from public to protect dead Ronnie.

Ronald Reagan's Long-Hidden Racist Conversation With Richard Nixon
So supporting the Chinese at the expense of Africans is racist? Is that the point of the article? Also, half that article was anti-science. True, the actual words of Reagan would be viewed as racist today, but sadly not for that time period. That is the real story, but instead the author used Reagan’s words as a non sequitur to support some liberal bull **** like opposing welfare reform.

Interesting view presented by the article. What always hits me when I see comments like his accompanist, the pediatrician, is does she think they do not have Drs and hospitals in Juarez? Before you jump on me about the 'quality' I get it, but there are some good Drs, even some that have practices on both sides of border.

First and foremost? The average American. This is what people want and this is who people vote for, and in the end they get the government they deserve.

I understand the sentiment. But the US political system is rigged to give the results that the 2 parties want. It is not set up to give the people what they want. It is a captured organization with interests of its own that it pursues many times at the detriment of the people.

Plus, much of the US Fed Gov is made up of unelected agents. Congress, where the bulk of representation is supposed to occur, has given over law making prerogatives to Executive Branch agencies in essence. Add regulations. Add Federal court decisions further muddying the connect between voting and "getting what you want".

I don't even believe voters know what most of the politicians they vote for do or what they truly believe when voting. The voting public is kept mostly in the dark about what to expect of a candidate.

For all those reasons, I can't blame US voters for the poor state of US Fed Gov. It is Leviathan's fault.

LH, Why always pick on conservatives you think are racist? Chew on this list for a while. And yes the word taint is in here somewhere.

1) "(Obama’s) a nice person, he’s very articulate this is what’s been used against him, but he couldn’t sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic." -- Dan Rather

2) “White folks was in the caves while we [blacks] was building empires … We built pyramids before Donald Trump ever knew what architecture was … we taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it." -- Al Sharpton

3) "‘Hymies.’ ‘Hymietown.’" -- Jesse Jackson’s description of New York City while on the 1984 presidential campaign trail.

4) "A few years ago, (Barack Obama) would have been getting us coffee." -- Bill Clinton to Ted Kennedy

5) "The Israeli puppeteer travels to Washington and meets with the puppet in the White House. He then goes down Pennsylvania Avenue and meets with the puppets in Congress. The Israeli leader then 'brings back millions of dollars' in aid to Israel." -- Ralph Nader

6) "(Harry Reid) was wowed by Obama's oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama -- a 'light-skinned' African American 'with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." -- Harry Reid's comments reported by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann

7) "I do not think it is an exaggeration at all to say to my friend from West Virginia [Sen. Robert C. Byrd, a former Ku Klux Klan recruiter] that he would have been a great senator at any moment. . . . He would have been right during the great conflict of civil war in this nation." -- Former Democratic Senator Christopher Dodd (D.,Conn.)

8) “Civil rights laws were not passed to protect the rights of white men and do not apply to them.” -- Mary Frances Berry, former Chairwoman, US Commission on Civil Rights

9) "Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness." -- Mary Frances Berry, former Chairwoman, US Commission on Civil Rights

10) “Well, because the Arabs who were involved in 9/11 cooperated with the Zionists, actually. It was a cooperation. They gave them the perfect excuse to denounce all Arabs. It’s a racist sort of thing, really racist – you know, picking out these 19 or 20 terrorists – they were terrorists – and saying all the Arabs are like them.” — Former Democratic Senator James Abourezk on Hizbullah TV

11) "Let me see one of you adopt one of those ugly black babies." -- Abortionist Ashutosh Ron Virmani

12) “There’s no great, white bigot; there’s just about 200 million little white bigots out there.” -- USA Today columnist Julienne Malveaux

13) "Them Jews aren’t going to let (Obama) talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office. …They will not let him talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is.” -- Jeremiah Wright

14) "There’s white racist DNA running through the synapses of his or her brain tissue. They will kill their own kind, defend the enemies of their kind or anyone who is perceived to be the enemy of the milky white way of life." -- Jeremiah Wright

15) "The white man is our mortal enemy, and we cannot accept him. I will fight to see that vicious beast go down into the lake of fire prepared for him from the beginning, that he never rise again to give any innocent black man, woman or child the hell that he has delighted in pouring on us for 400 years.” -- Louis Farrakhan

16) “White people shouldn’t be allowed to vote. It’s for the good of the country and for those who’re bitter for a reason and armed because they’re scared.” -- Left-wing journalist Jonathan Valania

17) "(Joseph Lowery) said that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell. ...'Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back to where he was.’" -- The Daily Mail quotes Joseph Lowery, who gave the benediction at President Obama’s inauguration

18) "We are owned by propagandists against the Arabs. There’s no question about that. Congress, the White House, and Hollywood, Wall Street, are owned by the Zionists. No question in my opinion. They put their money where their mouth is…We’re being pushed into a wrong direction in every way." -- Helen Thomas

19) “You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian Accent.” -- Joe Biden

20) “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” -- Joe Biden

21) "I give interracial couples a look. Daggers. They get uncomfortable when they see me on the street." -- Spike Lee

22) “I want to go up to the closest white person and say: ‘You can’t understand this, it’s a black thing’ and then slap him, just for my mental health.” — New York City Councilman, Charles Barron

23) "We got to do something about these Asians coming in and opening up businesses and dirty shops. They ought to go." -- Marion Barry

24) “The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person…” -- Barack Obama

25) “That’s just how white folks will do you. It wasn’t merely the cruelty involved; I was learning that black people could be mean and then some. It was a particular brand of arrogance, an obtuseness in otherwise sane people that brought forth our bitter laughter. It was as if whites didn’t know that they were being cruel in the first place. Or at least thought you deserving of their scorn.” -- Barack Obama

Yeah, no. You’re FOS.
Since Reagan was taking about African leaders, how come the author wrote about domestic affairs instead of the actions of African leaders at the time (both positive and negative) in order to provide context? The article was intellectually disjointed. No mention of the corruption, Marxist theology, etc that was happening in Africa? Finally, did the author mention that the majority of the Republican Party voted for civil rights less than 10 years before this incident? Here is the logic in the article: Reagan used bad words long ago, ergo republicans today are racist.

Given that the Baltimore murder rate is worse than that of Honduras, El Salvador or Guatemala, do we now have to offer asylum to Baltimoreans?

Or, Trump could just resettle a million or so border jumpers into Baltimore. I hear there's lots of empty buildings available. When all that federal welfare started flowing into the city, there'd probably be a business revival. Who knows, maybe they'd clean the joint up some. At the very least, the added population should lower the murder rate.

How come the author was the first director of the Nixon Library?
