Don't trust Obama

Here come the right-wing hatemongers. He's "scary"? Just becasue the Republican field is as exciting as a bowl of cereal does not mean the Democratic nominee is "scary".

Look man, criticize his policies. But do not question his patriotism. Can we get past that crap, please?

Yawn

lemme guess...you buy that fake e-mail going around on how Obama was sworn in using the Koran and will not say the pledge too...right? lol

Also, my Republican friend -- he talks "well", not "good". Good is an adjective -- which modifies nouns. Well, is an adverb, which modifies verbs. You are a poster child for poor education in this country. For our own sake, vote Democratic.

are we supposed to actually conclude from that video that Obama doesnt like America or that he was dissing it? I guess him singing was fake?

Good Lord.

FH II,

Good is also a noun, and it is correct to use it as a noun. He talks hope; he talks war; he talks peace; he talks good. It would probably be better to say he talks of hope or about hope but I think it's ok to say he talks hope as it would to say he preaches hope or he preaches good. That said he probably meant to use an adverb not a noun.

My only comment on this thread is this. That is the absolute worst rendition of our National Anthem I have ever heard in my life.

Whoever was "singing" that should be put out of her misery

That is odd behavior for a candidate in the running to be the president of the United States.

It's not so odd for someone who attends a church led by a pastor who said,

So the theory is that Obama has been working his whole life as a mole for Africa, the continent? And that video is proof of this plot (apparently he let his "i'm one of you" guard down for a moment)? Makes sense to me.

That's it!

Obama wants Africa (the entire continent) to be the leader of the world, so he is running for U.S. president.

And this all stems from his father being from Kenya I presume?

I am mortified at the thought of a Dem in the White House but, given the state of the economy, feel it is likely. So obviously I feel that the winner of the Dem nomination will likely be President. I am conflicted about whom I want. Obama has more sense and is more likeable than Hillary. A lot more likeable. My gut cheers for him over her. But in spite of her primary rhetoric Hillary understands that if she tries to govern too far to the left she will crash and burn. I'm afraid Obama may not understand that. Even Mr. DNC with ten years as governor of good ol' boys and more political instincts than about anyone ever took a bit to get calibrated. The expectations of the left on a new Dem Prez will be enormous and moderating that will require someone who knows the pitfalls of failing to do so. I'm afraid Obama will instead get caught up in the excitement. The reality is that half of this country wants one thing and the other half wants something else. I, for instance, don't want socialized medicine, a ***** approach to the war on terror (as opposed to Iraq), or ambivalence about illegal aliens.
We need a President who understands how to govern with a forty percent approval rating, which is what any will have. It's where we are. Hillary has experienced the necessary failures to understand the limits of the President's power and Obama has not.
My logic says maybe Hillary would be better.

I also believe that Hillary will not receive the benefit of the doubt on questionable legislation like socialized medicine or immigration reform. That's good. That's real good. With Hillary I think the Senate will bow its back from Day One. And that's real, real good. They might cut Obama a little slack.
