Darrell Scott to Colorado

Again you cannot lose something you never had.....

Now lets see if CU holds up their end of the deal by redesigning their offense for him.

Perhaps Scott didn't like that his number was already taken?

This man will tear it up next season!

Wish the kid the best. He's a great talent and CO will be a better team for it.

Vondrell is up to the task though. We're good folks. Alllllll good!

Just saw the article, I guess that is an angle into all of this. If so, I still stand behind the move Mack made. Other schools are now wanting to create the same position for their program. I would not blame him one bit if that was a key issue either.

Rucker is not allowed to coach so while he is still on the staff, he is not a coach. But if he thought he would be without direction or leadership he was wrong.

I think there's actually a thread on it how he wanted to work with Rucker but when he left as a coach, it was over for us.

Actually, Colorado does show signs of life and improvement. But they have a ways to go. Kansas and Mizzou will have to prove they are not flash in the pan and Nebraska will have to regain their foothold at the top. I think Pellini is the guy to do it, however. So it won't be too tough for Colorado to gain as they don't have too far to fall back.

But again, they have a lot to prove. It is not out of the world of the sane to say they have a good shot at being better than what they are but for sure it is not a given.

Best of luck to Scott. Have to agree with some of the more level-headed posters here -- I praise him for handling the decision with class. Contrast him with some of the clowns like Perriloux and Bennett, who made asses of themselves by dissing the Longhorns when they announced their decisions.

Those of you who think this will make CU into a major threat for us in the near future need to get a life. They are showing improvement, but I am not convinced that they are at the top of the heap in even the Big 12 North yet. We have much bigger problems next year, like Kansas and Mizzou. Hell, I'd be happy if we could even just beat OU and aggy again in the same season.

We have an arsenal of running backs in the stable already. We'll be okay.
