Darrell Scott- Are we the leader now?

That's true. For all of the loud liberal talk about diversity and multi-culturalism that goes on in Boulder (nothing wrong with that, BTW), Boulder is surprisingly ethnically non-diverse.

Believe Boulder is in the top percentile of the population with higher education degrees. Its also very expensive and affluent. Its really too bad those factors translate in a very white population.

That being said, Oxnard (where Scott lives) is very white and affluent too.

Sorry to bust your bubble, dude, but there are parts of Oxnard where you could walk for miles and never find someone you could talk to because of a language barrier.

Boulder is also known as the town where the men shave their legs and the women don't.

It has been described as 5 square miles surrounded by reality.

And Denver folk all refer to that space as the People's Republic of Boulder.

Folks in Boulder don't care what people say about it because it really is a nice place to live if you have the money. Which goes a long way to explaining why there are more divorced women per capita in Boulder than anywhere in the world.

And if I may be so frank, the women in Boulder need to understand that if you are going to live in a climate as cold and dry as Boulder, you need to do more face moisturizing.

Somebody had to say it.

I think that it all comes down to Evian v. Ozarka? Tough call. That being said, I don't like that CU will have the last in house visit per a certain pay site.

In reply to:

Man, somebody is living beyond their means. Even with 2 people in the house making that kind of coin, that doesn't even sound right. No wonder there is a subprime crisis.

haha, hilarious. It's true though. You cannot afford 862K home with 78K. Not even with 78K per spouse. I think bolt works for Countrywide..

Word now is that Scott will announce with Lemming on ESPN. He is going in with a CU hat and a UT hat. Apparently he will lift up the CU hat, only to find a big snowball under it. He then proceeds to throw the snowball at Lemming, and lift up the UT hat. Under the UT hat, his LOI. Mark it down.

fwiw - it's 10:21pm and 29 in Boulder (feels like 16)
