CWS 2022

Elish's selfish behavior toward the team warrants some level of enmity...not sure that's hate, but I guess that's an individual perception.
 

When looking at the crowd on TV, I was surprised to see it not as crowded as I would expect for such a tense game. And then my wife said, "Ehhh, the OU crowd has gone home because they're done for the day".
 
Does anyone know if UT will be in the dugout next to 1st base for game 1 of the softball championship. Trying to stay away from ou sections.
 
Bracket says: Game 1 ou is home team (third base dugout)
Game 2 Texas is home (third base dugout)
 
Regardless of what happens against the gooners, I keep thinking that has the be one of the most amazing Texas teams ever. In fact, one of the most amazing college sports teams ever. The 1st unseeded team to ever make the final. No one even expected them to even make the WCWS. Everyone counted them out.

Every step of the way they just keep defying the odds and coming up with amazing plays and amazing W's. This team has simply been incredible. :hookem2::hookem3:
 
In the ESPN streak pick they have the okies a 98.8% chance of winning tonight to our 1.2% chance. Isn’t that about what it was from the Washington series on? Hey we got this!

Watched okie lite presser. I may have missed it, but I never heard one time out of any of them, to give Texas credit for winning.

Whipped half of Oklahoma Monday, might as well finish off the rest of them starting tonight!
 
Keep it within 1 run in 5 innings and we have a good chance of winning.

I replied: You need to be in OKC in your place. You are unsettling all logical norms of superstition!
She replied: I know!
 
I’m so nervous and the game hasn’t even started. I know we can compete and win but this first game is the tone setter. I know Mike White said game two is important but, winning this first game would be a huge momentum builder.
 
My game plan would be the same as game 3 against Ark. If we can keep them inside the park that would be a good thing. But no matter what to have a chance we must hit and score the ball.
