Cutoff for championship tickets?

They are saying 1000 but they usually high on ther estimates. In 05 it was like 650 but that was with you being able to add to your donation and alot of people did which raised the cutoff. With that being said we now have the new north suites and endzone club doners in the mix with very hefty donations { 2000 per seat in the endzone club seats] so probably between 600 and 1000 would be my guess with 825 being my pick if I had to bet.

If you applied for four tickets, you either get four tickets, or zero tickets.

DId you apply last week? Just checkin'.

You can get up to 4 seats if you have 4 season tickets, you can only get 2 if you only have 2 season tickets. The dollar amount is per ypur season ticket package. You will get 4 tickets with you 3k donation probably get goal to 20 yd lin ticket with that if its anything like 05.

I applied about an hour after I got an e-mail from the LF, whenever that was.

When will we get confirmation from the LF?

Yeah this beatoff did call and thats what they said because every other Big 12 game sold beer at all locations.Just posting my due diligence at the time but if you scroll down I posted later that it had changed and posted stating that only in the club sections would sell and boy did they great mixed drinks at the the bar over looking the game.If I bring something to this board I have made an effort to confirm information from my sources. When it comes to cutoffs you can go by what LHF says but you can take to the bank when I post about past cutoffs for bowls and OU. So dont getThe Link your panties in a wad until you read the whole post.If you would have you would have been able to smuggle your Old Crow in to help with your nasty depensation.

Hopefully it won't be too much more thank 1k.

Thanks for the info.

Fingers crossed. I have been to every single Rose Bowl the Horns have attended !!

You give 3K? You have nothing to worry about. The cutoff for the 12,000 Big 12 championship game tickets received by UT was around $1500. The cutoff for the 3,850 tickets for the Aggie game was about $6,000 (so I hear).

We'll get somewhere from 16,000 to 19,000 tickets (again, this is speculation at this point, but some reputable sources have reported 16,000 tickets).

You are in like Flynn, in my opinion.

As to when they'll let people know whether they got tickets, I bet it's by this coming Wednesday. All UT needs is the number of tickets they are going to get, then the computers can crunch the numbers and come up with the cutoff.

I talked to LHF last week and was told we'd likely hear about MNC tix this week. Was also told the cutoff would be lower than Big XII Championship tix, which was $1,500 with lifetime of $6k or $8k (can't remember exactly on the lifetime).

Got an email from UT ticket office requesting address confirmation regarding possible bowl tickets. My guess it is a standard reply to all who made bowl application to verify address before shipment.
States tickets to ship 12/16 or 17th.

No word on cutoff amount in email.

I did not get the email

Looks like we are getting around 19K tickets and the cutoff will be a little below the Big 12 cutoff. Guess the foundation will get around 16K after UT pulls their part.

Just got off the phone from the Foundation and was told the cutoff would probably be between one and two thousand; as the demand was probably twice what it had been in 2005.

So those of us at the $1K level may be out of luck.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. The original estimate they gave in 2005 was around $1500. It settled at just below $700. Demand being twice what it was in 2005 sounds off. Ultimately it will be a moving target for at least the next four to five days. It always settles at less than their initial projections.

I remain hopeful at the $1200 level.
