Countdown to Football

Cool pic of the different unis the Horns have worn over the years:

DB Jordan Strickland. He's a RS freshman in 2015 and hasn't hit the 2-deep yet, but at least he wears #43. As a bonus, I found a good pic of him from the spring game:

A cool idea for your Dad.
May I suggest a trip to the legendary DKR Texas Memorial stadium? Can't argue with the history there
and so far Stevie P won't charge you extra for the emotional trip with your Dad, unless you want to walk on the field.:whiteflag:

My dad works on the sidelines at DKR. It doesn't get old though. :) \m/

I was on the sidelines for the WVU game last year, it was amazing. I'm sure that'll be the last time for a while. Except for later today when I attend the Women's Clinic.

We will need a report back from you about your experience at the Women's Clinic:popcorn:

Wellllllllllll... it was another AMAZING day. I'm looking at my FitBit activity log currently, and it says I burned 1,060 calories during the 2 hours and 43 minutes that I was "active". Wow!

Started out with presentations from all of the positions coaches, strength & conditioning, and equipment. There was also a presentation from their Nutritionist, and I learned that the players who are on the least amount of calories per day are still eating no less than 3,000 per day! (Holy ****, I'm on 1,200 per day). Depending on their position, some may eat 8-10K per day while in fall practice.

Then we did a ton of drills, ran bleachers, went inside to do a series of workouts with Pat Moorer (btw, I found out today that I can do 35 push ups in a row if Coach Moorer is telling me I have to--from the toes! Not those girly push ups). Then it was back out on the field for more drills.

My favorite positions were running back, defensive tackle, and OL. I totally knocked a girl on her ***. :D

Here are some pics:

This was me after running the entire east side lower deck in the blazing sun! My conditioning from doing Camp Gladiator 4 days a weeks has definitely paid off!

Coach Rucker was my group leader, he's a hoot. Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. I had another amazing camp and can't wait for next year!

#41 Tyler Marriott celebrates an INT with Quandre Diggs, one of the few bright spots from the 2014 BYU game:

#41 Rick Nabors celebrates after the 1969 Arkansas game, which had more bright spots:

He walked HIS talk.

#40 LB - Robert Killibrew, 2004- 2007. A lot of big plays during his tenure and a few not so good....

#40 - Phenom RB Butch Hadnot, 1990-1991. Breakout game vs. ou 1990 and then a HUGE game vs. UH 1990. Everyone was saying he was the next Earl. So much potential...

Remember this stunning performance vs. UH?
