Serious question: if you'd replaced that yard gnome with an actual yard gnome at the start of the Wuhan virus outbreak, would the current situation be any different?
 
They will never admit it because it was intentional. If lockdowns worked, they would have truly locked down everything. Instead, they locked down businesses selectively that they knew would cripple the economy. Why else was it okay to close everything else but Walmart and Lowe's/Home Depot? Everyone not working was spending multiple days/hours per week in those stores so they could plant gardens at home and do other projects. In Nashville, mysteriously construction was "essential" largely because the mayor's family (his brother is an idoit US congressman) business has to have it. Construction reported one of the highest infection rates from the very beginning while bars/restaurants reported some of the lowest. He enforced the bars/restaurants with police and newly hired agents.

"Gov. Andrew Cuomo promised to take a “special” effort to protect nursing homes early on last spring."

It was all Trump's fault and Cuomo, with using his Liberal feel good and hate Trump rhetoric was being raised up as a hero. In hind-sight, they were floundering. Leading with hype, managing with incompetence.

This sort of thing is the true election fraud. That is why people on the right are so angry. The media CARRIED BIDEN the entire time. They CARRIED the Liberal states of California and New York. Doctors and nurses are angry at the world for being disease-ridden. They spend a career trying to fix the problem.
And so on.

Totally agree and I think this is what most people do not get. I do not think it was a fair election - even if Biden got more votes. You add in a splash of mail in voting and isolated shenanigans in known liberal precincts and you have a dangerous situation.

One important caveat. The variant is evading some of the antibodies produced by the vaccine but not the T cells, which are more important to avoid severe sickness. Thus the J&J vaccine did equally well against the S Africa variant in terms of minimizing hospitalization and death. In fact, no one who got the J&J vaccine was hospitalized or died.
