They are going to inflate and hyperbolize any "credible threat" they get. That means if one Facebook account talks about "takeover" then it will be used to support this effort. The pictures of NG deployed to DC are a win for the Biden admin. It will help build their case for gun control, for rapid Exec Orders, for security overreach, for first-100-day failures, etc.

Notice how almost all of them are from Blue states. The incursion into the congress warrants additional security but 25K...come on. This volume is mostly about political theater at this point.

I don't think it matters too much what is actually happening. They are going to do what they do regardless...and especially regardless of historical empirical evidence showing liberal economic policies repeatedly fail. That stench will always hover around them.

Thankfully for California Governor Newsome, the media is from the same Party as he is, so no troubling questions as to the Wuhan Virus rates. They will save their bile for Florida's Governor and why the entire state of 20+ million people hasn't been vaccinated yet.

Newsome's only concern is who he needs to bribe with political favors to win next year's Emmy - can't let NY's Cuomo (2nd highest death rate in the country last I looked) one up with with that!

But think how much worse it would have been without it! Like a rabbits foot in your pocket, no matter how bad things are, they'd be worse if you didn't have it.

Lockdowns are a total and complete failure, and in a proper society, the idea of one, imposed by people in government who won't lose a single retirement point, much less a paycheck, should be responded to by those who will lose their business and life savings with rocks and bottles through the bedroom windows of said government officials.

If you want to say people should wear cloth face coverings / dirty socks or whatever, which may, may do something slightly more than nothing, go ahead. But shutting down someone's business based on Feelings!!!, instead of any measurable Science!!!, is grounds for a good tar and feathering.

Working fine for him. Hasn't lost a paycheck, has more influence to peddle now that he can decide what businesses can open and which ones stay shut.

Will win re-election in 22 if he runs, with an eye towards running for President in 24 against Harris once Slow Joe soils his diapers one too many times in public.

Crisis's usually only negatively affect Republicans, who have to constantly draw inner straights to be able to win elections (everything has to be going fine, so the public grudging votes for them again, even though they've been told thousands of times by the media what a meanie that guy is).
