Coronavirus

We are getting it in a few weeks. I hope that I will have had the second dose by New Years.
Won't that go against your Dem talking points fi its being rushed unsafely to market the chaotic and dysfunctional Trump circus? How will you reconcile that amongst your peers?

I trust the science and the Trump administration had little to do with this and didn't twist arms to get it approved.
Whatever you say...of course the Trump Administration had nothing to do with it. Of course. Why would you say otherwise?

Your trolling is very predictable these days.

Troll on...

This and acting like the current Mideast peace plan is no deal. Thankfully, most Americans are better informed than what Bubba is.

Yep, and I'm sure he'll eventually reply, but if not, that's even better. But, I guarandamntee he and his ilk would blame Trump if no vaccine was imminent.

I have read that the COVID hotspots right now are caused by detecting dead COVID RNA in people in the Corn/Soy belt of the US. The soil is recharged with processed human waste. It is heated to kill the virus but the RNA stays in tact, so the detections aren't of an infection per se.

At the same time there does seem to be a resurgence looking at ICU and death. If only we would have let healthy people get infected and recover in the Spring. Then they (most of us) would be active virus killing machines protecting the truly susceptible. Governments didn't allow us to do that, so now the virus will kill more of the old and sick.

My hospitals are definitely surging now, but not worried about beds. More worried about government shutting down their OR’s. All have set up separate areas to care for patients and all critical care clinicians are changing roles to meet the need. ‘Merica. We will be fine.

ICUs and covid units in Oklahoma are full, or were full as of yesterday and off and on all week.

Who benefits from lockdowns?
Who loses?

There is now a Covid elite, those that are content with lockdowns as they do not affect their income (actually increases some). They can work remotely and let others take the risk. They have no concern about getting back to normal and are indifferent to the loss of liberties (believe they can get them back whenever they want). The consequences of their decisions go against what they formerly espoused.

Initially, WHO insisted that there was no asymptomatic transmission.
Months later, CDC came out and said that maybe 25% of asymptomatics spread it.
Then it was 50%
Now? Now the CDC says most coronavirus infections are spread by people without symptoms

“CDC and others estimate that more than 50% of all infections are transmitted from people who are not exhibiting symptoms"

We should definitely listen to them and follow their advice.

95%. The docs I talk to say that this is a no brainer and they’re excited to get it. I’ve known them for 15-25 years.
The vaccines? Sorry not following. I don’t doubt the vaccines are 95% effective. If I were compromised, I would be first in line. Since I am not, I will wait to see the side effects. And all foreign substances you put in your body have side effects.

We should have a scientific study on this by now. Enough time has transpired for us to know if this is true with a rct. CDC has been guessing for months. Years of proven scientific protocols thrown out the window. They are acting like an elementary science class not a world leading health organization.

And this actual study contradicts the CDC.

I think the asymptomatic spread is what differentiates this from flu, h1n1, etc.

Had the same question theiio. Hard for me to believe that no one ever ‘carries’ the flu around without symptoms. It is easy to believe that it has never been studied.

Experts can't seem to agree on whether masks really stop the spread of the Kung Flu. They don't know for sure if you are immune after having it. Yet, the same people who say we should listen to them say they think it can be spread this way. They can agree to something that puts restrictions on others while they stay employed and they see big businesses profit from all this.

My errands this am included Lowes, pick up the dry cleaning and Starbux
Everything was packed - Lowe's did not have a cart, i had to go into pkg lot for one
The SBUX line was retarded, but i had to return some texts so I just inched along making replies
This in spite of the County Judge (a sort of AOC wannabe) screaming "We're all gonna die if you dont stay inside! And when everyone dies, it will be Abbott's fault!"
Backed up by local TV which has been screaming in unison "We're all gonna die if you dont stay inside!"

The owner of the laundry is a guy i grew up with, he thinks people generally have just become numb to all the dire warnings

Serious question. Is there verifiable proof of asymptomatic spread? How do they know?
The first case was identified in Germany from a chinese consultant who did a training and came up sick 4 days later upon returning to China. A handful of people in the seminar popped positive after that. A scientist rang the bell but it was somewhat ignored. Now we could certainly say it should be studied more.
