There is no mention of the AASP in that sentence in the wiki link that opens for me. Maybe my browser is linking wrong link although the link does appear to address orgs and people who doubt or deny HIV causes or leads to AIDS. Just no mention of AASP

Here is what the link I followed showed "The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) is a conservative non-profit association founded in 1944. The group was reported to have about 5,000 members in 2014. The association has promoted a range of scientifically discredited hypotheses, including the belief that HIV does not cause AIDS, that being gay reduces life expectancy, that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer, and that there is a causal relationship between vaccines and autism. It is opposed to the Affordable Care Act and other forms of universal health insurance."

It's easy to write them off as silly. But with an official-sounding acronym like AAPS, and quotes throughout many forms of media that definitely buy into conservative circles of thought, it's hard to dismiss innocent-sounding claims when people don't understand what their "other" claims are.
That Obama hit piece was right out of that playbook. Link a site (freedomsphoenix.com) that seems to run off of bitcoin selling ads with a 67-page "medical study" by Erickson with the footer "EXPOSING OBAMA’S DECEPTION MAY BE THE ONLY WAY TO PROTECT DEMOCRACY" and attempting to pass it off as "medical" news... only to say "well we just linked it we didn't write it" is disingenuous and should make others question when they say... well... anything else.

It was already over in June. The excess death numbers went below the yearly average. Then they changed the definition of a case. Cases went up as a result. Then hospitalizations and deaths followed suit.
All we are seeing now is the continuing of the tail of the viral life. It never stopped going down, there was simply an artificial bump in reports that has now worked its way out of the system.

My doc who works for me said it's probably like Tamiflu - if you hit the right window it could mitigate the symptoms. He says that the window is so small with tamiflu and the benefit of it is relatively so minimal he doesn't prescribe it and I've seen the eye roll when friends call to try to get it.
My point is that ER docs and Pediatricians are not providing first hand evidence as they were not admitting and treating hospitalized patients. That was being done by hospitalists.

Facebook isn't a publisher and shouldn't be doing that. It may not be a cure per se but the truth about it's effectiveness will come out. Lives are being wasted due to politics and money. A study that came out of Italy a few days ago showed 66% effectiveness of HCQ.
