Comey and Mueller

Some name to tuck away for the near future -- FBI agents Joe Pientka and Mike Gaeta, along with DOJ official Stu Evans, are figuring prominently as witnesses in IG Horowitz's investigation of department FISA abuses.

What Ive been reading suggests the findings in the IG report will be "devastating."

Also, it seems increasingly evident that Obama was more personally involved in all of this than previously disclosed. He had a heavier hand in interfering in the 2016 election than Putin

Apparently one the spies the FBI had embedded inside the Trump Campaign is former Mike Pence Chief of Staff Joshua Pitcock. Ridiculous

You may recall back when Sarah Sanders said FBI rank-and-file were disgruntled with Comey. She was roundly roasted by the media for this, of course. Turns out she was accurate.

One of the things Mueller did with his report was protect his close friend Comey. But there is evidence coming out that FBI field agents were up in arms over Comey's handling of the Clinton probe is overwhelming.

"The Horowitz report is coming out in May or possibly early June .... There’s another report that everyone has forgotten about involving James Comey alone," diGenova said. "That will be out in two weeks. That report is going to be a bombshell. It is going to open up the investigation on a very high note, and there are going to be criminal referrals in it."

Pitcock's wife was working as an analyst for Strock and was supposedly investigating Hillary's email server! What a small, small world it is inside the Beltway.

This should be a national scandal, a sitting administration spying on an incoming administration, but you hear almost nothing about it. If this were Republicans from the Bush Administration doing it to Obama back in 2008 can you imagine the 24/7 news coverage it would get?

The Govt is big obviously but you can eventually break it down into smaller and smaller groups. One thing I found there was the hiring in certain sections of the different agencies often came from the same schools. Many of these people know each other from their school days. They stuck together, networked and often directed hiring back to their alma maters. For example, the SEC was famous for hiring somewhat exclusively from certain law schools, ignoring the rest (i.e., they all had the same law profs). I've read this changed at the SEC more recently but cant say for sure. Same for the Civil Division of DOJ and the Civil Rights Division. In my experience, the Civil Rights Div was the one most full of activists on a mission. Some of those people were a little scary.

Out in the field in the various USAOs, it was much more mixed and diversified. Despite alot of retention through various Administration, you could often still see a difference depending on who was in the White House. But there were exceptions even to this general rule - for example, in the entire time I was in and out of the SF USAO (Northern Distr of Calif), across multiple Presidents, I was aware of only one hetero white male attorney (non-tax) there. They just did not allow it, no matter who was the USA. Point being, hiring policies matter and show up in the makeup of all these different work groups. The result was a lack of diversity of thought and it was often pretty staggering (but they thought they were in diverse workplaces, of course).

Supposedly a former top intelligence official with the Obama CIA is cooperating with AG Barr's review of the domestic spying by the Obama folks

?
Dems want financial records of Trump children including Tiffany's records from college?
Stuart Varney: Jason we’ve had Eric Trump on the show this morning, literally 20 minutes ago. He told us the Democrats in Congress want the debit card records of Tiffany Trump from way back when she was 22-years-old. Does Congress have any right to those financial records?"

"Barr said he is working with Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz to determine if a surveillance warrant was properly obtained by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance court the month before the election."

Their subpoenas are broad enough to include his grandchildren

Criminal referral filed against Nellie Ohr concerning congressional testimony after emails surface showing election-year contacts with DOJ

Nellie Ohr's 'Hi Honey' emails to DOJ about Russia collusion should alarm us all

Nadler rambling on about preserving the US government while ignoring the fact that several Dems are running on abolishing the Electoral College, a cornerstone of our Republic. Comical.

Also railing in Trump and Barr for ignoring subpoenas while making no mention or being outraged previously when Obama and Hillary did the same. Comical.

But, of course, he is just allowed to ramble and say whatever he pleases.

The NYT on May 2, 2019 finally concedes the obvious, that the Obama Admin was spying on the Trump Campaign. These sudden leaks about all the spying are no coincidence. Leftists are in a rush to get out ahead of Barr/the IG Report to get their own a narrative in place.

One inescapable conclusion of all of this is that Barack Obama was using the full force of the federal government to spy on a political opponent. As I have been writing in here for 2 years, it was the greatest abuse of presidential power in American history. Worse than what Nixon did by a factor of at least 10. Maybe 100.

"The conversation at a London bar in September 2016 took a strange turn when the woman sitting across from George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser, asked a direct question: Was the Trump campaign working with Russia?

The woman had set up the meeting to discuss foreign policy issues. But she was actually a government investigator posing as a research assistant, according to people familiar with the operation. The F.B.I. sent her to London as part of the counterintelligence inquiry opened that summer to better understand the Trump campaign’s links to Russia.

The American government’s affiliation with the woman, who said her name was Azra Turk, is one previously unreported detail of an operation that has become a political flash point in the face of accusations by President Trump and his allies that American law enforcement and intelligence officials spied on his campaign to undermine his electoral chances. Last year, he called it “Spygate.”

The decision to use Ms. Turk in the operation aimed at a presidential campaign ...... could also give ammunition to Mr. Trump and his allies for their spying claims...."

It is always easy to tell who Democrats fear the most by the amount of effort they put into defaming that person. Today, they person they fear the most is obviously the Attorney General.

Another article from today --
"The Real Reason Democrats Hate Bill Barr
The attorney general's greatest sin is accuracy"

" .... Barr accepted the finding of the special counsel and made his legal judgment based on the evidence and arguments as outlined by Mueller. If Democrats disagree with his legal reasoning, they have a constitutional remedy called impeachment. Are all the liberal pundits and news outlets pretending that Harris’s line of inquiry is shrewd, really arguing that Barr should act as if there might be a smoking gun buried in the evidence that Mueller himself didn’t deem worthy to bring forward in his report? What would the reaction be if Barr investigated and found the evidence less compelling than the Mueller report’s framing? Would Democrats accept Barr’s findings? It’s absurd, and another sign of how this is all just partisan bluster.

Another thing Mueller didn’t seem at all concerned about was whether the Trump-Russian collusion conspiracy had been initiated or stoked by Russians. Those clamoring for transparency when useful—now acting as if investigating how the entire country was thrown into a panic over non-existent Russian infiltration of the White House is absurd—are the true conspiracy theorists.

Yet Barr, who dropped some interesting tidbits in yesterday’s hearings, seems willing to investigate the impetus of the Russia “collusion” investigation, the role of the infamous dossier, and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants used by the previous administration for “spying.” Now that Trump has been cleared of criminal conspiracy, it seems reasonable for the American people to have an understanding of how the Obama administration rationalized spying on its political rivals during a presidential election.

Perhaps it will be vindicated, or perhaps someone will find evidence of abuse of power. Either way, in a healthy media environment, such a story would launch a massive investigatory effort. Today, it seems, the political media would rather engage in a concerted effort with Democrats to preemptively smear Barr."

The Real Reason Democrats Hate Bill Barr

So when are these counter investigations going to happen? I keep seeing people hinting at them as a warning to those who were involved in the Trump campaign surveillance. But I don't ever see anything substantive.

Barr interviewed by Hemmer
This part deals with when and how the Russia Collusion investigation began
The full interview gets aired tonight, I think, but this part is worth watching now for the purposes of this thread

Remember how we have been told for a long time now that James Comey was a "life-long Republican" or "long-term Republican?"
How many times have we heard or read some version of that?
Well, guess what?
Not true.
He voted fro Jimmy Carter and says he was a communist before that, just like John Brennan. Comey today still describes commies "left of center."
This means that Obama had not one but two ex-commies serving as the heads of the US intelligence community and law enforcement.

Both Comey And Brennan Voted Communist While Cold War Was Raging
