So no one wants the job? Wow. If a second tier guy like Stoops would rather stay at Kentucky where do they go next? UTEP? Texas State? Abilene Christian? RC Slocum?

Word this morning are players are almost demanding Elijah Robinson be made permanent HC. He would be easy on their pocket book after the jimbo payout.

He's a Jersey guy who played at Penn St. This should be fun to watch.

He has only ever been a position coach. Going to be fun ti watch.
 
Rumor out there that they had Fisch from Arizona lined up earlier this week, but Bjork started negotiating with Stoops.

The blowback was too much to get the Stoops hire finalized.

Hamilton at IT now wondering if they can find someone by Christmas.

Will they be able to get a coach they already passed up?

As a reminder. Bjork is super close to Stoops.

That's it. For the most part, there's no problem with aTm engineers. It's the others, especially those who have never even sat foot in an aTm classroom yet still claim to be aggies. And the aggie fans from East Texas are the worst of all.

Only aggy can aggyup the hiring of an HC. I suspect they are going to continue to throw unimaginable money at Dabo until he cannot say no. Then in 5 years when Jimbo and Dabo are both out of coaching, they will join forces to provide the Sons of Klem and Free Shoe U with unlimited NIL money.

From the start, going with Traylor was their best option.

All of this proves that Texas will be forever in aggy's mind. When you chase a coach just to prove you are better than Texas, stupid is as stupid does reign supreme.

Aggy engineers I know are not known for thinking out of the box and in a lot of cases, not thinking inside the box as well.

AD's need to do whats best for the university and not pander to whining, spoiled ghetto wannabe's. If the money they are getting from atm is available elsewhere, go get it. The workers dont dictate terms, they accept them or move on. Not sure atm can absorb another fubar like jimbo but again, they are ags. Traylor is a home run if they pull their head out of their arse!!!

Traylor's a single or a double, but not a strike out like their last several hires.

I think they fired Jumbo mid-season to avoid the pushback if he beat LSU in Baton Rouge. Yikes. Now they have burnt two head coaches and divided the money guys from the AD and the players are lined up to enter the portal. Right or wrong, Traylor won't keep them and he won't heal the self-inflicted wounds. Traylor should wait for the next go-round or a better job. My guess is that they will money whip someone who will retire in five years very rich.

Individual aggies can be great friends, loyal and will help you in just about anyway they can. However, when they start to gather in a group even as little as five, the transformation to cult group think is something to behold and if you have never witnessed it, count your blessings. All rational common sense thought is gone and delusion reigns supreme.
 
So Aggies had the AZ coach but tried to “upgrade” to hire Stoops and now they have none of them?

Wasn’t this an episode on the Brady Bunch?
