If one or two northern teams end up in that game they better have plenty of puke buckets on hand. It will probably be pretty hot in Frisco in mid May.
When my daughter was attending SHSU, they played Montana St in early September. The Montana kids were puking all over. SHSU won easily. The two teams ending up playing again in a playoff game in cool weather. The Bearcats got mudholed.

That is the way the contracts generally work. The new school has to pay something, but the bulk comes from the school that fired the coach.

Arkansas does this also. They give tuition breaks to kids from bordering states. The higher your grades the better tuition break you get. My nephew is a Sr at Bacon U and gets a pretty decent discount.

Seems like a difficult decision to make. On the one hand, college is obscenely expensive. On the other, you will be a pig the rest of your life.

Agree. To me there are some similarities between Harbaugh and Mensa, or at least there appear to be. While Harbaugh had a proven and impressive HC track record and Herman didn’t, they are both arrogant and bull headed. Basically jerks. While I don’t condone the behavior, at least Harbaugh arguably had earned the right.

I am amazed at Harbaugh’s failure to produce at Michigan. However, the fact that he agreed to modify the contract to partially incentive based should encourage Michigan fans. To me that suggects growth, and commitment. Tom Terrific’s ego would not have allowed him to do something like that, nor to admit his errors. He may regret his lack of maturity for the rest of his coaching career.

Speaking of Herman and former Big 12 coaches, I wonder if Kingsbury ever pulled a stunt like this on the recruiting trail...?

I once thought it might be a good business move to invest in an Ohio based couch store or manufacturer since so many are burned every year regardless of whether or not their sports team wins or loses.

I don't recall that it was with a recruit. I thought it was outside a recruit's window to get his attention. My memory could be faulty though. It frequently is these days. Either way, what a showboat.
