We won the Big 12 conference championship--FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. That's the standard Shaka set before he jumped ship to a basketball school. Beard will ultimately win Big 12 championships here at Texas (Barnes NEVER did), but people have to give the guy a chance. Let's see who he brings through the portal. We could be quite good this coming year. We may surprise a lot of people.

Barnes won THREE regular season championships. I'll take sustained success thru three entire seasons over winning ** two games with the eventual national champion sititting out handing the title to you. He won TWO games. The trophy is in the case but its tainted. Your obsession over a losing/loser coach is noted.

Agree, but his attitude and hardnose play kept Tceh in a lot of games.

I don't necessarily agree with all the opinions about McClung expressed above (I just want his 3 point shooting and hustle), but assuming they're spot-on, McClung + Ramey could make for a rather volatile backcourt...
