I think the NFL interest was as an OC, or an offensive advisor/consultant.

Lubbock is in the Panhandle, not in West Texas.

Lubbock people do NOT usually consider themselves in the panhandle.

sorry to dispute your friend, but that's just not true. I've personally seen him with women in non public, high profile settings.

Been a good while back, but someone on the old shaggy board posted a pic of he and a date attending some comedian's show there in Austin.

In fact, one of the things that made the USC gig more attractive than some of the other ops he had, was the fact he has a girlfriend out there currently.

Not an important subject, but one some here seemed interested in and brought up rumors about.

The girlfriend I alluded to in my last paragraph above is Fox's Holly Sonders. She revealed their relationship in a couple of different tweets today.
