According to the Book of Leviticus, Hebrew slaves and prisoners would be freed, debts would be forgiven, and the mercies of God would be particularly manifest.

All debts would be (relatively) short term. There would be a lot less debt in general. Not a lot of leverage in play. Save up and buy it with cash (or livestock or sheaves of wheat …)

I've at least read that they agree with Democrats on almost nothing but that it's a racial thing. They buy into the narrative that Republicans don't like anybody who isn't white and don't like immigrants in general. They hear that constantly from the media, and I don't think they know to see it as agenda-driven. And of course, the Trump-era GOP doesn't know how to appeal to them at all.

However, eventually, I think they will leave the Democrats. Asians voting Democratic is like a bunch of blacks and Jews voting for David Duke. It makes no sense at all. Everything in their agenda is a very big and very blatant "**** you" to Asians and every value they tend to hold - crapping on merit, overtly discriminating against them in college admissions, and being OK with them being physically assaulted so long as the perpetrators aren't white. It's only a matter of time.

And this **** is why we need a real reform of higher education. Nothing wrong with people studying rock and rock or Taylor Swift (even if studying her music is a colossal waste of time), but it should never be paid for with taxpayer money - whether directly or through a government-backed student loan. That's just idiocy.
