Can anyone justify NOT having the Wall?

There is no reason for a majority of Americans to desire not enforcing the law. Any suggestion to that effect is propaganda. I would say the American people would prefer and humane system of deportation and processing but not a system of amnesty.

I'd agree with that except the viciousness of the hypocrisy over the immigration situation is far worse. The attacks on white people as racists and harassing government officials and calling them Nazi's is sick.

I agree the Republicans need to step up on the national debt. I was supportive of the Tea Party as they seemed to be the only one's who actually cared. They were being attacked by tan-boy Boehner and I believe it's because they made his cushy existence a little too hot to handle. Who forced through the sequester? We need more of that. There is more than plenty of money flowing into DC.

I liked the tax cuts. It is very noticeable on my paycheck and for a lot of other people who are not close to being classified as "rich." It's better in the hands of the people than in the hands of the government who then dole it out. You can't politicize more money on someone's paycheck because you can't steer the money where you want it to go on the basis of buying votes.

That's how I feel anyway. I know it's not always that simple but my cynicism is well-developed. :)

I think the media considers it bad form and unfair to discuss crimes committed by illegal immigrants (especially anecdotes) in the context of the broader issue of illegal immigration. We get the same thing over here with terrorism and Islamic immigration. It's considered very unfair to discuss those issues in the same context. They don't want to associate crimes committed by the worst illegal immigrants with the broader group of illegal immigrants.

Of course, they aren't consistent. If a crackpot murders an abortion doctor, they'll do everything they can to associate it with the broader pro-life movement.

Trump’s draft plan to cut off food stamps for immigrants could cause some U.S. citizens to go hungry

So I thought immigrants were this massive boon to our economy and not a drag and not on the dole. How can it be then that "millions" are going to be in dire straits if the government cuts off their food stamps. And this is just one program... if you are so bad off that you need food stamps, imagine what your healthcare situation likely is. I'm sure we're paying the bill for that as well...and education...and housing... and everything else.
