I guess you mean the UT vs UGA game. That was awesome, my daughter was a Jr at UGA and my son was Fr at UT. Pre game we went to church then took my 95 year old Godmother, RIP, to dinner at Galatoire’s on Bourbon St. She was born and raised New Orleans. We walked in and it was “Miss Lou, come on in, your table will be ready in 5 mins”I scored a Sugar Bowl cap from my daughter (then in the LHB). She thought the Sugar Bowl experience was a great end to her band career.
She didn’t have 2 nickles, I supported her for over 20 years, but it was Old New Orleans! They new and loved their old timers from a different time period. Times have changed. I’ve been back twice and they still want to talk
about Ms Lou.
