BTHO the Huskies - Alamo Bowl

SA is a fantastic place to enjoy, particularly the river walk, Pearl and Southtown which are all in and around downtown where the Alamodome is located. Food, booze and party atmosphere in general.

Not a fan. The riverwalk stinks and the traditionally good food down there has deteriorated over the past 10 years. Anyone on our team can take a trip down anytime they want to. Like I said, I'm sure Washington is going to love it.

I think those 4 weeks are big for Ewers, as is the game.

I really don't see it. He's had 2 1/2 years of practice and a full season under his belt. Maybe the time to clear his head again would be good. I saw the deer he bagged. That has to be a great time for him to be in nature and get things mentally straightened out much better than more practice.

I always had a serious dislike for the Fiesta and Holiday Bowls - fly in for the game and back out after. I thought they were punishment for a subpar season, and hold it against Brock for screwing up The Cotton Bowl to allow the Fiesta into the Big Four.

San Antonio is drive in and drive out, Chris Madrids before the game and Paesano's on East Basse if time permits. Last time, I left Alamo Dome at midnight to drive back to Houston.

FWIW, my grandson thinks there is a clause in the Constitution that gives him "the right" to a Chris Madrid's Macho with cheese, plain and dry anytime we are South of Kyle.

Again, I have been critical of him as well but I think that the expectations for this first year player (less than a full season, and returning from an injury) have been unrealistic. His perfect rating coming out of HS has worked against him.

If as I suspect, he lights it up in the Alamo Bowl, watch the narrative change instantly, and the criticism dissipate like steam.

I could easily name 3 locally owned Tex-Mex places in my town that are better than anything on the Riverwalk. But the folks from Washington won’t know the difference.

I’m disgruntled that the official’s bad calls cost us a better bowl.

The extra time

The extra time is more important for the OL. If they improve enough to give Ewer time to throw
will help him much more than the 4 weeks and get some of our posters off his back.

Why all the bad mojo? It's the best bowl we've been in since 2009 (besides hick up in Sugar). Ya'll act like we are going to New Years's Day bowls ever year. It's a great matchup, top 12 team. Now if we aren't in a Major bowl next year, then complain...

Wil Washington's QB skip it and go pro? Bijan skip it?

Next year? So, that is when, after wandering the desert for over a decade, that things should be righted?

Sugar bowl vs GA was better, but I get your point.
