Boyer' open letter to Kaepernick

....That said, I think one was more local in nature for that weekend. I think in Charlottesville it was 80% national/regional (meaning out of state) for the group with the tight haircuts and working with the "imbedded" media. I'm guessing the "antifa" crowd was more local - 80% from the region - the Skokie Nazi haters. .....

Baloney. Soros-funded groups are well-known for busing in the agitators. This is what some call community organizing.

First-ever NFL male cheerleaders in LA
How did the 49rs let this happen?

Would love to hear the tape of this conversation. A meeting that was held last October between Owners and Players on the kneeling saga. It was a 3hr meeting.

Robert Kraft said this:
"The problem we have is, we have a president who will use that [kneeling] as fodder to do his mission that I don't feel is in the best interests of America. It's divisive and horrible."

The problem is that the owners don’t have balls to protect their brand but instead blame Trump for their incompetency.

Actually ...I was just in a chat with DirecTV about changing as my promo year closes here in a couple months. $52/month is quite sufficient for no more than I use this service. Given the buffoonery of the NFL, I've used it even LESS this past year. So, paying for something I'm not using seems to be a waste.

I'll probably be paying their cancellation fee of $400 noting that will still be less than 12 months of my bill more than doubling ... even with their entry level subscription ... which is 50 channels/so less than what I'm ignoring now.

Pitiful. But this is probably part of the design ... social construct destruction. It's not a surprise, but it's still disappointing.

not really. I don't think these guys would hesitate for a personal foul penalty.

Now ... suspend 'em without pay ... then we'll see how dedicated they are to "their cause."

Given the immediate visceral reaction I heard on “Urban View,” the NFL is digging a deeper hole. Perfect timing for the midterms!

Here is how the NY Jets will handle any fine.

New York Jets co-owner Christopher Johnson will pay any fines his players might be subjected to as part of the NFL's new national anthem policy.

Per Newsday's Bob Glauber, Johnson addressed the situation Wednesday:

"I do not like imposing any club-specific rules. If somebody [on the Jets] takes a knee, that fine will be borne by the organization, by me, not the players. I never want to put restrictions on the speech of our players. Do I prefer that they stand? Of course. But I understand if they felt the need to protest. There are some big, complicated issues that we're all struggling with, and our players are on the front lines. I don't want to come down on them like a ton of bricks, and I won't. There will be no club fines or suspensions or any sort of repercussions. If the team gets fined, that’s just something I'll have to bear."

If they pull that nonsense the NFL needs to come down hard on them. If you don't want to stand up stay in the locker room. They have that option.

There will be Kaps on every team and especially any team who pays the fines like the Jets. Expect a constant decline in attendance this year as well.

I called to drop U-verse yesterday. As they escalated me to the save team, I was offered free access to NFL. I laughed and said “no thanks.”

Cord cutting in the US up to 2016. Cable TV going the wrong direction.

I think this may be mistaking the effect for the cause. Cutting the cord does not mean that viewers no longer have the ability to subscribe to ESPN.

I cut the cord a year ago but I still have ESPN because I subscribed to a streaming service. Of course, I am a huge college football fan so I am willing to put up with ESPN's SJW agenda. Now if I were a casual fan then I may have made a different decision and millions of other cord cutters have clearly decided to make a different decision. Now I am sure that many of them were not sport fans, but I suspect some were casual fans that just had enough of ESPN force feeding them their left wing social agenda.

Lance P. Sijan

I
was the cadet officer in charge of UT's AFROTC Det 825 "Project Warrior" in my senior year. Learning and teaching the story of this fighter pilot was mandatory to our cadets.

All Freedom-loving Americans should see/hear this story.

When an NFL player takes a knee during the playing of The Star Spangled Banner ... think of this man.

when someone stomps or burns The Flag in their protest of whatever ... think of this man.
Lance Peter Sijan. A man among men.

UT poll of Texans -- Nearly half of the state’s registered voters have an unfavorable opinion of the National Football League. Texans still dont think much of people who wipe their butts using the US flag. I predict this is unlikely to change anytime soon

Dak Prescott --

“I’d never protest during the anthem, and I don’t think that’s the time or the venue to do so. The game of football has always brought me such peace, and I think it does the same for a lot of people .... When you bring such a controversy to the stadium, to the field, to the game, it takes away ... from that. It takes away from the joy and the love that football brings a lot of people."

If only Goodell understood this ... the NFL ratings would likely be restored.

All it would take is a promise of a season's suspension without pay for political activism while representing the NFL. Just saying.

This is a year old ... but apparently quite timely to run around again.

Take a knee...

It was written by Stanislaus “Stan” Drew and made famous by Ted Nugent.

Take a little trip to Valley Forge in January. Hold a musket ball in your
fingers and imagine it piercing your flesh and breaking a bone or two.
There won't be a doctor or trainer to assist you until after the battle, so
just wait your turn. Take your cleats and socks off to get a real
experience.

Then, take a knee on the beach in Normandy where man after American man
stormed the beach, even as the one in front of him was shot to pieces, the
very sea stained with American blood. The only blockers most had were the
dead bodies in front of them, riddled with bullets from enemy fire.

Take a knee in the sweat soaked jungles of Vietnam. From Khe Sanh to
Saigon, anywhere will do. Americans died in all those jungles. There was no
playbook that told them what was next, but they knew what flag they
represented. When they came home, they were protested as well, and spit on
for reasons only cowards know.

Take another knee in the blood drenched sands of Fallujah in 110 degree
heat. Wear your Kevlar helmet and battle dress. Your number won't be
printed on it unless your number is up! You'll need to stay hydrated but
there won't be anyone to squirt Gatorade into your mouth. You're on your
own.

There are a lot of places to take a knee where Americans have given their
lives all over the world. When you use the banner under which they fought
as a source for your displeasure, you dishonor the memories of those who
bled for the very freedoms you have. That's what the red stripes mean. It
represents the blood of those who spilled a sea of it defending your
liberty.

While you're on your knee, pray for those that came before you, not on a
manicured lawn striped and printed with numbers to announce every inch of
ground taken, but on nameless hills and bloodied beaches and sweltering
forests and bitter cold mountains, every inch marked by an American life
lost serving that flag you protest.

No cheerleaders, no announcers, no coaches, no fans, just American men and
women, delivering the real fight against those who chose to harm us,
blazing a path so you would have the right to "take a knee." You haven't
any inkling of what it took to get you where you are, but your "protest" is
duly noted. Not only is it disgraceful to a nation of real heroes, it
serves the purpose of pointing to your ingratitudefor those who chose to
defend you under that banner that will still wave long after your jersey is
retired.

If you really feel the need to take a knee, come with me to church on
Sunday and we'll both kneel before Almighty God. We'll thank Him for
preserving this country for as long as He has We'll beg forgiveness for our
ingratitude for all He has provided us. We'll appeal to Him for
understanding and wisdom. We'll pray for liberty and justice for all,
because He is the one who provides those things. But there will be no
protest. There will only be gratitude for His provision and a plea for His
continued grace and mercy on the land of the free and the home of the
brave. It goes like this,GOD BLESS AMERICA”

Liberals are such lovely people

They are really close to killing the golden goose. More and more NFL fans are getting to their BS threshold on this. I have been playing fantasy football for 15 years and I am really hoping to get out of my last league this year. I really am sick of watching a bunch of unpatriotic prima donnas get ridiculously overpaid for playing a game and then complaining about being oppressed.

Ultimately its on the Office of the Commissioner. It's his job. But he completely misread this situation. Goodell makes $40M a year, yet has the intuition and perception of a gnat.

The gnats of the world are really upset with you right now...you have insulted them tremendously. Even THEY are looking at Goodell and uttering the phrase "dumbass" on a regular basis...
