It's fantastic that the U.S. finally got their man, although I'm a tad incredulous that it's taken this long to get him. I know he was holed up in the most isolated and unfriendly part of Pakistan, but still, with all of the CIA and DOD human, aviation, signals, special forces, etc. assets devoted to tracking his whereabouts, it's hard to believe that it's taken over 9 1/2 years to get him.

But hey, better late than never. Congrats to everyone who played a part in bringing bin Laden down.

I have seen a couple of different reports tonight saying this isn't so. They are saying that they moved around in larger cities or had safe houses there. Something about every major player in aQ has been found in cities and not caves. I don't know the breakdown or level of those caught but I find that interesting and I hope that they expand on this in the days to come.

FYI, the Commander of the Joint Special Operations Command is a Navy SEAL Vice Admiral...who's a Texas Ex. Apparently, he's getting his 4th star and will take over USSOC. Hook 'Em.
