Arch Wows Sark

This guy would be a program changer IMHO

Too bad we couldn't light up the scoreboard for him the other day.

Would be a bigger get than Quinn in my opinion.
Caleb Williams. ..ripple effect
Quinn Ewers... ripple effect
Last name Manning....BIG ripple effect

The best QB in the world cant win without an OL. Would you come here to be sacked and rushed on every pass play. Arch is going to Ga.

The Mannings are looking at exposure, development, championship opportunities, and quality of education. UGa is one of three Tier One Universities in the SEC ; Texas is the only one in the Big XII.

While some of our colleges within The University are ranked higher than theirs, I think they still have a higher ranking overall.

By the time Arch gets where he's going, we will both be facing Alabama, aTm, Florida, & OU regularly. It ain't gonna be an easy road, but I have confidence that this staff will find and develop OL & DL.

The Mannings are smart people. Unless we see a drastic change in this program starting today, he ain't coming.
LC, gotta disagree with your take. Remember, he’s coming in 2023, so Sark will have another full year and another class before Manning arrives on any campus. And he might also have a Heisman winner, this year or next.

But why wouldn’t he come here? Inferior offensive line and weak WR room? This is 2021. Add two years of recruiting and development and we’ll see. It’s almost a certainty that there will be a significant upgrade from what we have now, and the Mannings understand that.

With Arch Manning will come a top class, perhaps “the” top class. So whether that is at Georgia or Texas, the class and the talent will come.

So to me it may come down to perception of the program, the trajectory, the HC, the city, and many intangibles. Because Payton went to Tennessee and Eli to Mississippi, there may not be the strong legacy connection. My guess is that MS is unlikely because, among other considerations, would you rather have your son play for Kiffin, Smart or Sarkisian? Kiffin loses big-time in that calculation. Additionally, I doubt Kiffin will still be at MS by 2023.

We will see. But I suspect that the Sark factor could be the leverage needed to make this happen. If you want your son coached by the best quarterback whisperer in the college game and a class act, you probably can’t do better than Sarkisian.

Boys and girls-
I’m jumping in here.

Sark came in as a COVID coach, no ability to recruit- get to know the team well, new Offense, new Defense, and-
Is doing really well in putting up points. First time in years I’ve seen 3rd string players play , because it was safe. I haven’t felt safe in any game until this year. We were crushing both Okie schools and I’m still stunned. I get it.
Anyone notice the recruits Sark and his team has pulled in for ‘22. And it ain’t over.

For the love of god( small g) Relax.
Please just relax.
What we need is consistent schemes and coaching- not jumping ship after a couple of admittedly tough losses.

I think Sark has a great chance to get Manning ye of little faith.

Point Of Parliamentary Procedure: It's "O ye of little faith".

Also, to not offend God, you write “for the love of the gods” (the mythical kind), or similarly “not to draw the ire of the gods”, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

That is way off - Georgia isn’t even the top rated school in their own state (that would be Georgia Tech). Georgia may have a better football program than we do right now, but UT is the superior academic instruction in virtually every ranking.

WJ,

The USN&WR, which has published the list of top 200, with the top 50 being considered "Tier One", disagrees and has for several years. They are the standard bearer of such information, which you may or may not agree with, but it's "the law".

You are correct that GT is in there just like Rice sits about 30 spots ahead of Texas, which sits close to 30 spots ahead of A&M.
