Matt saved. Not even in the B3. I did not want to see Anoop go... But Matt had the better performance of the 2 after being saved. Once Lil was gone, it was a battle between Matt and Anoop... And Matt won before Anoop was announced in the B3. Allison was not going home. That girl can sing.

Yeah... They made a big deal out of Paula choreographing, and it sucked!! I would never hire Paula after seeing that crap.

I think the right poeple went home though.
 
I thought the dance moves they were doing(if you can call it that), while performing were much better. I think Paula helped them out with those as well. But yeah.. That lip syncing number was god awful. It sucks too because the prior week they actually did a live group number for the first time this season. I guess with all the horrible dancing to remember, they could't really concentrate on their singing.

This definatley is one of the best groups ever. Each singer is very diverse and has their own style. Adam being the Steven Tyler/Mick Jagger type, Danny doing Christian influenced, Allison being the rocker girl, Kris Allen with the John Mayer/Jason Mraz type of feel... and finally Matt who reminds me alot of Justin Timberlake.

Great group.

updog, I wouldn't be surprised if Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler sue you for defamation with a comment like that.

Adam should be the next to go. I agree with a friend who said you ought to vote for the WORST, not the best. In the sense that the person with the MOST votes should be voted off. Not doing that keep the worst person on stuff.
 
So Matt is gone. I can't say I was surprised that he was the one to go, but I was surprised that Adam was in the bottom 2 with him.

This year all 5 of those contestants are great and could have a career. Especially the 4 that are left.

Jamie Foxx was good both as a mentor and performer I thought.
 
i think sticking adam in the bottom 2 was a bluff to get the fans voting for him. i think they (idol producers) want him to win. i do not think he was in the bottom 2 but i could be wrong.
 
adam was not "in the bottom two". They never said that. Out of the bottom 3, one, matt was going home. they just chose to reveal that chris was safe first. had nothing to do with the order of votes.
 
Wasn't that big of a shock to me. When you get down this far, the chances that you're in the bottom 2 or 3 increase. Kinda like how the idiots on Deal or No Deal don't realize that the longer they stay in the game, the chances of them opening the big case increase.

In my opinion the rock thing failed. The AI kids are good at what they do, and that isn't rock. The funny thing is, prior to last night's performance I used to wonder if Adam could be like a Freddie Mercury type rocker - now, I don't really think so. The whole thing just missed out on the soul of rock - like if Celine Dion were singing Led Zeppelin. I seriously doubt Slash will ever want to associate with American Idol again.

none of the 4 were great last year. I think that after David Cook and Chris Daughtry that AI thought this would be a good 'week' to have, and it might be, but not with the final 4 they have this year.

Also, America got it wrong. Adam MUST go. Danny was actually the worst last night, but the Final should be Danny v. Kris... for sure... This week MUST be Adam's week!

You must be kidding...Chris is one of the blandest contestants in years. If he hadn't nailed his performance a couple of weeks ago, which gave him some momentum, he probably would be gone by now. He would make a great 'Muzak' artist.

Danny has the best voice, but Adam is by far the best entertainer of the bunch...he abuses his falsetto a bit, but producers will take care of that.

Danny and Adam in the final two, and Adam gets the cake.

I would rather listen to Roseanne Barr sing than Adam. The 'style' in which he sings is sickening, and what he did to a Johnny Cash song is unforgiveable.
 
Danny has a gift, and that's Pop/CCM. The comparisons to Seal are obvious too. And you don't see Seal covering Dream On on his albums. Who cares if Adam has "range". Dude is annoying.
 
I have a feeling that Gokey will be ousted tonight. Paula's song choice for him was far worse than Randy/Kara's choice for Kris. Kris, despite being married, is far more marketable to young album-buyers than a praise band leader from Wisconsin.

This one is Adam's to lose, which is a tad unfortunate because this season didn't have a "theme" to trip him up. Usually there's a week where someone gets booted because they can't do the style. Adam just changed every single song he performed into something where he could scream, and the fans bought into it. In 10 years you'll hear about him as much as you hear about Sebastian Bach today. Which isn't much.

I can see Kris doing a lot of different pop and/or country stuff, and he'll end up making the most money.
 
Kris is super marketable. He's going to be one of the idol folks who sell lots of records. I'm expecting Adam and Gokey to fade away... Gokey won't be relivant to main stream stuff, and American Idol's record lable isn't going to let adam do weird enough stuff to make him "different"
 
Adam should have been ousted long ago.
But... last night, what he did to One... there is no way to describe it but as rape. That was the most sickening thing I have heard in all my time watching Idol. I would rather watch Tatiana, and William Hung sing over and over and over and over, than to hear Adam totally ruin good music like that.
 
This is disgusting. Anyone who voted for Adam should be sent to Siberia to hard labour. That is just gross. If you voted for Adam after what he did to U2, then let me know who you are. I want to here from his adoring deaf fans.

I'm thinking Kris has a good shot.... All Danny's fans will vote for Kris I bet.
