I'm assuming there is no thread yet based on all of you being afraid to admit that you watch the show ... so I'll take the heat.

I want the homeless guy, that cries a bunch, to win.

Me, too. I also like the girl with the Macy Gray hair and was sick for the first couple of days. I like the 16 year old kid -- David, I think is his name? Those are my top 3.
 
I was liking the "homeless" kid until that stunt he pulled at the end during his final performance - asking the band to leave because they couldn't/wouldn't play "Stand By Me" the way he "heard it in his head." And he was a total drama queen - crying like a little ***** before and after his final performance.

And he's not really homeless. He is choosing to live in his car. He's got a family with a home he could stay at, but he is driving around playing gigs and living in his car.

I like the Irish chick with the tatted up arm. I really think she's got star quality. And that one Hispanic guy - not the 16 year old, but the guy in his 20s. He blew the judges away on the first day. Can't remember the song, but they loved it.

I think the politician nerd from Tulsa is going to make the final 24 over Simon's objection.
 
I like the blonde haired, blue eyed chick. She rocks on the piano, and has the best, clearest voice IMO. Plus, she's hot and has a great stage personality.
 
I'm annoyed w/ American Idol over the whole people being brought in who've had failed carreers thing-- Like that kristi Lee Cook is one of them.

I like the homeless guy too. I think he got some bad press b/c he was soooo tired. I can't imagine what kind of emotional wreck I'd be at 5:30 in the morning after days like that.

I like the crazy rocker chick.
 
I can't stand that ***** "homeless" drama queen ***** punk. He has talent, but he's such a whiny little *****...crying every five minutes...then when Simon calls him out on the band thing, he pats himself on the back: "That took some guts" or whatever he said. **** him.

The hot black chick who could barely talk but belted that **** out. I like her a lot.
 
Is this chick still on? I haven't watched the show other than that first week,
but she seemed pretty cool. Not a spoiled brat.

ive already seen 10 people more talented than anyone on last years show...last season was terrible and i think they know it. ratings dropped and nobody really cared like in past years. the irish girl, aussie guy, cute blonde, 16 year old dude, other mexican looking dude, and two black chicks will make the final 10. homeless dude will make the final cut because he is a story but i think his singing is overrated.
 
As per the judges, homeless kid pretty much sucked last night but they kept him because he's had better nights. I thought you had to bring it every night, but maybe I'm thinking about Top Chef. If homeless kid was on that show, he'd manage to burn himself making toast and then cry about it.
 
That homeless kid is walking a very thin line between genius and crazy. The reason he was up until 5:30 a.m. was because he kept screwing up the rehearsal with his band. He kept jumping around and they couldn't follow him.

In other words, he can't take structure. That's why he dropped out of high school and is living in a car.

Other than that, he's very talented. He sings with a British accent for some reason.

Whenever someone says they idolize someone like Kurt Cobain or Janis Joplin, they almost never realize they were personal train wrecks. Cobain was living on a park bench before being discovered and then blew his brains out later. He was a genius in between, though.

That homeless kid is like that. I wouldn't sign him to a record deal in a million years. Do you think he's going to show up on time for studio work?
 
homeless kid's novelty is wearing thin... he's a weak Coldplay / Radiohead impersonator... when he was humble during the first audition, he was bearable... after some glowing reviews, he's developed this misunderstood genius, self-grandeur delusion... I don't think the kid can follow a simple beat or has the ability to sing a song plucked from other genres without butchering it under the falsity of singing it the way he hears it in his head.

Abstinence blonde is good... Aussie is good so far... the two hispanic men are good... the Joplin chick is good, but I wonder if she can vary her delivery to the extent of remaining interesting as time passes.

The political-nerd kid is hard to watch, like Sanjaya and the Chicken-Little kid who made it so far a couple seasons ago.

If they pick a less-talented person this year for ratings, the Sanjaya reaction could kick in again and bite them in the ***.
 
Ok. We watch it too. My wife wants to adopt homeless kid. Partially because he's "so sensitive" and partially because he's from her home town. Anyway, I told her you can't adopt 18 year-olds as they are adults AND it's "bad idea jeans" to bring a kid into your house that's obviously ****** in the head.

I like the blond chick as well. I don't know about the Janis Joplin chick. She's a one-pony act.

I'm glad that crazy-assed chick from Texas didn't make it. The one that had been in the car wreck and looks like Amanda Plummer on crack.
 
my dvr cut the show short when they said "Joanna (the heavy chick) you are through."

did that mean she made it or they picked the hot chick?
 
I liked Cardin, she was hot.

Favorite Girls:
- The one who lost her voice...hot and can sing.
- Dunno how to spell her name but it's pronounced "asia"

I'll watch it if there's hotties on it but I haven't watched any this year but did catch the last 10 minutes, Man, these girls are all ate up with ugly.
 
I'm a little disappointed Cardin was booted... Her first audition was great, but I assume the Hollywood runs weren't too great. Either way, she was far and away one of the hottest chicks there and I would have preferred watching her over one of the lame-o guys (like colton).

The 16 year old guy, 16 year old girl (Alexandrea, I think), Aussie guy, Danny, the albino chick, and Ramiele are all good. Carly is allsome.
