When I left active duty and went to work in private industry, that was the first thing that startled me - lack of respect for punctuality. In the Air Force, if a flight briefing was scheduled for 0500, then the doors closed precisely at 0500 and the briefing started. In industry, it's not unusual to see folks walking into a meeting 5-10 minutes after start time - wasting that time for the people who were on time. That needs to change.

Of course it would. Let’s come up with a pay out. Is it $1,000, $10,000, $500,000? At some point it bankrupts the US. But who gets it? Obama, Hollywood stars, Lebron, CEO’s of corporations? Just curious.

But I could get behind this if once you take your payment, you can never ever be on the government teet again. We could end entitlement forever. And 99% of those taking the payoff would be broke in less than 3 years.
