Alamo Bowl Game Thread: UT v UW

People seem to have an unrealistic expectation for a freshman QB around here.

Possibly so, but also, almost all those types of records are recent everywhere, because of rules and "meta" changes.

Has any freshman but Colt started and finished an entire bowl game in the current era of offense-friendly football?

That clock management is an example of why you need a “head coach” that oversees the game and not a part time head coach/offensive coordinator/play caller

Pretty embarrassing to hear the play by play guy say about uw head coach "no one could expect this offense to be this good this quick"

Pretty sure those words were never used to describe Sarkisian. Anywhere

We had our opportunities but didn’t make the plays. Hats off to UW, they did mske the plays.

What a lame-assed Alamo Bowl, regardless of the teams playing. Over/under was 67. Teams score 20 pts under that. BIG12 will likely finish with its worse showing ever in a bowl season.

I'm pretty optimistic about our defense next season, just add a pass rusher or 2. And convince Patterson to stay

Offense? Unless Malik or arch is the real deal we're looking at another 5 loss year
