Grow up.
I'm crushed. Next thing I know you'll invite me over to roast marshmellows and sing camp songs with Fenves

To be biologically correct, Ralphie at CU and Thunder at WTAMU are American Bison, not Buffaloes.I know Ralphie is a female, but I thought she was a buffalo. A "bison" is not really a buffalo
Everyone is correct - it is the schools that are wrong:To be biologically correct, Ralphie at CU and Thunder at WTAMU are American Bison, not Buffaloes.
Too bad...In 1999, we took the President of the FSU Alumni Association, along with the President elect to watch PNG play Stephenville for the State Championship in the Astrodome. A few weeks later, FSU played for the National Championship.
The President looked at me and said, "this is a religious experience. I have a guy on a horse with a flaming spear who rides out and plants the spear. We get a golf clap. There's a 17 year old kid down there that walks out to mid field, raises his spear, and 40,000 people stand and start singing. Can I borrow 25-30,00 of these people to take with me to the championship game? Maybe the band, drill team & cheerleaders as well?"
If you haven't been to Doak Campbell, it is a major disappointment. Just lame - not as bad as State Penn, but trying.
My ancestry is 2/3 Scandinavian and I have no issue with schools having Vikings as Mascots. (Although the horns on the helmets are historically inaccurate. But I’ll let that ride.)We need to get back to easy-picking, low-hanging aggy bashing fruit here soon, but...one more thing on mascots...
I just dont get the anti-indian-as-a-mascot/theme thing.
I have quite a bit of Indian in my bloodline and always thought it as a tribute the the people and the culture to be "immortalized " with such acknowledgement. HELLO! Mascots are obviously chosen to be lifted up/exhalted/celebrated. By it's very nature, the act of letting something be the "banner" for your team/school/whatever is inherently complimentary.
You seem to have encyclopedic knowledge, Gio.My ancestry is 2/3 Scandinavian and I have no issue with schools having Vikings as Mascots. (Although the horns on the helmets are historically inaccurate. But I’ll let that ride.)
Wait, what?!I know Ralphie is a female, but I thought she was a buffalo. A "bison" is not really a buffalo
To be biologically correct, Ralphie at CU and Thunder at WTAMU are American Bison, not Buffaloes.
Back on subject........
it's a wonderful life!Somehow, “Bison gal, would you come out tonight?” , doesn't sound right.
Depends on what kind of ride you want.Somehow, “Bison gal, would you come out tonight?” , doesn't sound right.
Yeah, but do you like it really rough and hairy?I sure as hell don't want it to smell like a bison.
Shazam! Before or after the SMU cheerleaders knocked gomer pyle down?
A Wildcat buddy requires for me to correct you....it's Arizona not Arizona State....I had to laugh this morning while listening to VSIN and the discussion about the Arizona State game against Hawaii...they mentioned how Sumlin was one of the best coaches against the spread in August, September and October.
Coincides perfectly with the aggy roller-coaster..
