How do you know they aren't?

Watch the footage, who were they threatening? Can you see them carrying any weapons? Who cares where they were walking or how old they are? That is immaterial. What evidence do you have that they aren't civilians? Do you think the Israelis had any idea? This was from a drone from a significant distance away and most likely couldn't ID them one way or another.

Remember when the US military drone bombed that Afghani man and his family? The guy was an American allied aid worker. We didn't have the ability to ID him from the sky either. Simple, monkey see, monkey shoot scenario like this.

It always amazes me how so much biographical information can be gleaned from distant, grainy footage. And also astounding is the number of times the ex-people in the footage had lead such heart warming, innocent lives prior to their demise.

So a Palestinian climbed the only high structure and for some reason decided to use his camera to follow 4 people walking, the only 4 people visible the entire time the Gaza citizen is videoing them.
