The stats show Howard posting a 4.00 ERA last year...?

Maybe sometimes a really bad pivotal moment sticks in your head and colors the entire picture you see?

Much of this board got heartburn when A. DuP would take the mound (loading the bases with walks, followed by a Grand Slam, will do that...). By the end of last year, he was a really good short reliever.
